I wonder if Timmy boy is up for a contract negotiation. He shows his stripes more and more, week after week after week.

"(36 1/2 hours until Jack Bauer takes the ball and runs for a TD.)"

9 hours until Matt and Sean start making their way down the field to win the Super Bowl

Dean must stick to his rehearsed talking points. If he is pressured to come up with an original thought, he goofs.
On the other hand, Mehlman can think quickly on his own two feet. There is a big difference with understanding the topic and repeating talking points for the topic.

"McCain's endorsement kill Shadegg's chances"

Hilarious when you think about it,ol McCain really is the kiss of death.
My guess is his polling numbers against Chillary will eventually fall as the msm begins to manipulte the polls even further than they are now.
Right now McCain is a useful old fool tool for the msm, but closer to the elections even his brothers at the msm/antique media will tire of his pompous nature and dump him like the old stale rubbish he is.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dean doesn't get a copy of the questions before he is interviewed and still flubs the answers.

I'm sure glad he wasn't/isn't my doctor.

I want to see Scooter Libby's attorneys put Russert under oath in court. It's despicable that while he questioned everyone else on his show about the Plame business, he never once revealed that HE was involved. Same for his cutsey interview w/Carville re Carville's new sports co-host (Tim's college sophomore son.)

He 's busy forming his exploration committee for his presidency. That 's not a joke

And here I was thinking John McCain was the most unqualfied person running in 2008!

More judicial nominees waiting to be approved. Hopefully, that will start on Tuesday.

This is an excellent summary of judicial nominations that cboldt has provided on a few threads. I'm thinking (hoping) that the judiciary committee will cover one/some of these openings.

Summary of Circuit Court Nominations
F = 7 subjected to failed cloture motions in 108th Congress
4 = "1 of 4" that DEMs offered to let GOP choose which 3 to dump
S = Positive mention in Specter's May 9, 2005 speech

M = MOU of 14 will not vote against cloture
m = MOU of 14 makes no promise regarding cloture
R = Post-MOU, Reid indicates desire to filibuster

C = Out of committee & on the Senate's Executive Calendar
U = Unanimous consent to debate - date TBD
D = Democrats offer to debate - date TBD
v = Debate and vote scheduled
V = Vote -on the nomination- concluded
x = Nomination returned to the President - President renominated
X = Nomination returned to the President - President capitulated

IMHO the polls will only get more biased as we near the 06 elections. If the truth is told it will be here.

They need to learn from Sec of State Rice. She absolutely handed Timmy his head. When he asked about the Polls she said something like this "Well Tim as you know I am have a Social Sciences background, I would like to know about the methodology, questions and sample size before I respond to a poll". Was just a brilliant answer.
