John Zimmerman is right. The Muslim countries have chosen to pressure liberal little Denmark in order to teach the media and governments, which stand by them, a lesson which does not bode well for free speech or satire. Kuwait has joined the Saudi boycott (the Saudi market alone is worth 1.2 billion) and I suspect the rest will follow. So, here is a plea from my Danish friends:
"If you Americans look with this great sympathy on our case, couldn't you then raise a consumer support of DK in the US? The opposite of a boycott. A movement of: "Buy Danish!" Please?

They're "the religion of peace", they hate everybody and everything, and if you hate them back, they'll cut off your head.

In fact, we should do this like back we did the "We're NOT sorry..." like when GWB won the election. ...photos of US enjoying our Danish products which we have bought...and will continue to buy! We ought to take photos. I'll host em. I've got space on my site.
I went to THREE grocers yesterday evening looking for Carlsberg lager. No luck, but I know where there's a store in the next town over that will have it. Michelle Malkin posted a list of Danish products on her site and the Carlsberg gave me a craving. I'm not a big beer drinker, but we used to consume LOTS of that stuff when I was stationed in the UK courtesy of the USAF and it's pretty good for lager! :-)

I'd buy a bunch of stuff, but I'd have no idea what I bought.
I don't know what the stuff is IN ENGLISH!!!
...and we already have a room full of Legos, enough to build a new shed.
Hmmm... not a bad idea!

Cost Plus World Market has a lot of international specialty items. I wonder if they carry much Danish stuff? Does anyone know?
Perhaps I'll wander down there later today.
