That's right, Bill--make it worse for Hillary instead of better!

",i>What a nice 'brother' Bush has in Bill."

Indeed. I sure wish President Bush hadn't said that!

Anyone who believes that those two conversations with the two conveniently unnamed congresspersons actually took place probably believed him when he said he didn't have sex with Monica.

Bill Clinton needs to just go away and STAY away. Maybe he and Jimmy Carter can ride together.

"Bill is batting a thousand helping Dems try to win an elections ..

As miserable as his Presidency was for us, his post-Presidency has been quite good, because his narcissism prevents him from helping anybody but his own sorry miserable self!

Funny, they look to me like slave owners, still keeping my fellow Americans of a darker hue on the plantation 140 years after slavery was abolished.

For those of us who remember when Democrats ran the house and how Republicans were treated, this is just too damn funny. Remember Tom Foley gave Maxine Waters 9 million dollars to investigate her claim that the CIA was dumping coke in LA, Waters never produced one real witness and the SACBee had to admit it was had by some con, who was looking for a lighter jail term.

Bill is very good at letting others help him

But when it comes to Bill helping others ... he hasn't a clue

Setting aside -- just for a moment -- the imagery that words such as "plantation" and "sharecropper" conjure up, could anyone tell me what rights, privileges, control, power-sharing, or respect the GOP House and Senate minorities had in, say, 1965?

Hey, Dems, if you want to be players, try winning some elections!

They are trying to say the republicans are the plantation owners and they are treating black people (who are mostly democrat party members) as slaves.

If you are antislavery then you are anti-republican. If you favor slavery then you are republican. Never mind the fact that the republicans freed the slaves.

Sounds like bill clinton has been talking to the UN and koffi anannan who are trying to equate european means racist.

>>>Ex-president Bill Clinton defended his wife Hillary on Friday for claiming last month that the GOP-led Congress was being run like a "plantation," adding that he thought House Democrats were being treated like "sharecroppers." <<<

Bill Clinton is correct. Everyone knows the House Democrats are Carpetbaggers, and they should be treated as Carpetbaggers, not as simple sharecroppers.

Great article. LOL!

Why don't you share his name with us...Why he must be 145..

Hillary channeled the "member of the United States Congress who worked on a plantation as a boy" through Eleanor Roosevelt and Bubba read her diary and embellished the rest.

It's all perfectly legit in Toon World, Don't Ya Know! :o)

I am really, really curious who the Congresscritter is that really worked on a plantation...in the 1900's.

He is insinuating the person worked there as a "slave"...so, I think that person would WANT to come out him/her self and tell the story...

Now, was it Condi Rice or Janice Rogers Brown that grew up a sharecropper's daughter...and made a great career for herself..only to be called names by the Congressional Black Caucas..and Bill and HIll by extension??

"And I think that's why the Black Caucus defended her."

snort The Black Caucus has never left the plantation and they are bowing and scraping to a pair of carpet baggers. Disgusting and a shame to their race.

Clinton has me wondering now. Is it possible that the share croppers he mentioned get a sum of One million dollars a year for a staff, frequent junkets, the rare spending of their own money, free postage, free health insurance and a pension after only serving a few years on the dole at an extremely high annual salary. Seems like being a share cropper is a lot better than the descriptions I have heard.

Bill Clinton is such a liar, but you already knew that.

I guarantee you that he didn't talk to anyone about this and he is just making those people up like he always does.

If the Clintons didn't lie they would never open their mouths (which would be a blessing!).

Ask CT Reps how the dems treated them before the Republicans gained a majority in the House

Shays was quoted in newspapers about that
