Scripture DOES NOT CALL US TO WELCOME, ENCOURAGE AND REWARD ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR.
Illegal aliens are responsible for illegal behavior.
This Bishop needs to stop manipulating Scripture.
Lecturing to criminals might be a good place to start and impress upon them that THE COMMANDMENTS REQUEST THAT WE NOT STEAL.
Apparently the Archbishop of KC's copy of God's Word is missing Roman's 13.
Doesn't have much to do with ILLEGAL immigrants, now does it?
I saw an article recently that the Catholic church wants nothing more than to destroy the United States.
The Catholic Church wants to dominate the world again...
One more reason why scripture should be interpreted in its historical and literary context.
Want to drive the libs nuts?

Then they need to go down to Mexico and help keep the people there...and help the church there to solve their problems.
Which can also be interpreted as having respect for Caesar's laws. True we are all subject to the laws of God, but the laws of man hold dominion over us and even Jesus Christ recognized that we should pay our dues and respect to local governance.
Man, I hate it when some dude finds a single verse in the bible and tries to beat us over the head with it to make a point in favor of destroying the nation.
We're all for immigration, just LEGAL IMMIGRATION. respect our laws, and become a citizen in good standing. Hey, it's a "self respect" thing. My father encountered a lot of the same sentiment in seminary studies. He was a genius and "remembered" the bible. When some fool tried to push their point backed by scripture, he could instantly pull 10 verses to the contrary, depending on how motivated he was by the individuals agenda.
The eventually pulled him aside one day and said "You don't really want to do this, do you?" and which point he left seminary studies. Eventually became one of the youngest Leutenants in Korea. Don't have all the details, my older bro has the medals.
