We are being a tad dramatic.

Seiple said the religion is sacred and the cartoons ridiculing "the sacred" are "impudent." Remember the piece of art that consisted of a crucifix half-submerged in urine? I wonder what his opinion was about that.

[Seiple serving as the first United States ambassador for religious freedom in 1998-2000 during Bill Clintons presidency said,
"The question is not the freedom of expression but being civilized." ]
We already know the Left's answer to this question.

Islam never was, and can ever be "civilized"...

Seiple said the religion is sacred and the cartoons ridiculing "the sacred" are "impudent." Islam is about as "sacred" as my last bowel movement.

It was cartoons that triggered the Holocaust? I didn't know that Hitler read the funny pages. Learn something new every day.

so he is comparing these cartoons to those preceding the holocaust.....
Hate to state the obvious but the Jews in the late 30's never beheaded innocent people...never purposely flew planes into buildings killing 1000's of innocents and never threatened anyone for that matter...
the scuzlims are always saying their actions are in direct response to the way they have been treated so they should know first hand- you reap what you sew....

Cartoons did not create the holocaust. The National Socialist Workers Party did.

Islam never was, and can ever be "civilized"... But, I beg to differ, sir. If the violent muslims are all killed off (as is going to happen), then the remainder will be civilized...If there are none remaining, then, so be it.

"The question is not the freedom of expression but being civilized." I'll grant you that there is such a thing as self-censorship, and it's a good thing. However, in this case, it's clear who's NOT "being civilized." It's the Islamicists, as usual.
