All I have seen is a big cultural surrender. Let us pray this cartoon fiasco will be a line in the sand that we refuse to cave on. Condi's underlings sure didn't make that any easier.
The problem with a line in the sand, is that it washes away with the first high tide.
Thats the biggest part of the problem Montag. Condis underlings. No Secretary of State lately has taken them in hand and told them who was boss. The Department of State seems to have the feeling that they are the only ones qualified to run policy for this country and the Sec. of State is just an amateur they need not pay much attention to.
