An email from Denmark

I don’t know if you, living in an enormous country like USA, can imagine how it is to live in a small country like Denmark these days. It is easy to feel left alone with all of the muslim world against us. Furthermore, the half-hearted support from the European commision leaves us with the feeling that our dearly beloved freedom of speech and freedom of press is being butchered by islamic fanatics in the Middle East.

>>We certainly do our part to keep the Danish company "Lego" in business.<<

Good on ya!

We do too actually and except for the occasional nightime step on a six peg Lego (owowowowowow!) we enjoy them a lot!

The writer seems surprised that the 'support' of the Europeans is half-hearted. That provokes a giggle. The act of supporting/upholding all that is good/just/right requires those 3 things that the American left and the Europeans don't have - a brain, a backbone, a pair of balls.

But the writer should study European history a little more closely. It is tradition for them to be 'pacifists'. In order to act as if there is peace, the will close their eyes if someone is being slaughtered right in front of them. Witness the European reaction to Bosnia. They are also 'neutral' and might want to consider if it was them of whom Dante was thinking when he said that the darkest corners of hell are reserved for those who remain neutral in the face of a moral crisis.

Call me insensitive, but I am unmoved by the 'plight' of the Danes and will not be buying any more Havarti than usual.

Hello,

Totally in agreement, we need to support Denmark in this struggle. I for one sincerely hope this ends well. It has the potential to end very badly.

Glad to be here, MOgirl

Thats the biggest part of the problem Montag. Condis underlings. No Secretary of State lately has taken them in hand and told them who was boss. The Department of State seems to have the feeling that they are the only ones qualified to run policy for this country and the Sec. of State is just an amateur they need not pay much attention to.

It seems that the only time America is appreciated is when we are needed.

Ain't that the truth! Its the Red, White, & Blue man's burden I guess.

What is that baby? A pump-action 12 guage?

I'm trying to educate myself for what I believe is a very reasonable need to be armed fro the first time in my life in the foreseeable future as the Islamic death cult continues to assert its insane ambitions on destruction of civilization.

A request for a little education - I've just started thinking about getting a tactical shotgun - is the one in the picture a Mossberg or a Winchester or a Remington or something else? It is a 12-ga, isn't it? What is the thingy on top? Is that a Surefire up front, or something else? What kind of shot is in the shells? They are 2-3/4" cartridges, right? Thanks...

I think it would be nice to "buy Danish". What do they export besides cookies and herring?

A furore Normannorum libera nos, Domine, "From the fury of the Northmen deliver us, O Lord." ...

This small thing, this cartoon, could be the start of something bigger....muslims out of Europe, out of America, out of the west altogether...

they must go,their continued occupation of Europe must end,the worshippers of mohammed(war be upon him) must be driven out,the sooner the better....the followers of this religion, all of them, are incompatible with civilised people, they are a virus, they must be driven out, back to their scummy desert lands...

I am entirely with the Danes. Islamics have a right to their beliefs; Danes have the right of free speech.

As one of the publishers said, "the edict that no one is to make an image of Mohammed applies only to Muslims. Everyone else in the world is not held to Islamic rules.
