Dear Danes,

Please forgive and forget the few snide remarks here.

As a free people we stand with you in your fight against those who burn your embassies and threaten your people.
Together we will win and Liberty will prevail.

Signed,
Most Americans

Denmark has the support of all (I hope I'm not being presumptuous) American conservatives. Now it's time for the Danes to take action against their country's invaders. The western world is watching to see whether they will.

OK I'm with you, but if I may make a suggestion or two:

Reform your entitlement state so you don't have to rely on immigrants to fund it.

Be sure that being Danish means something other than just another European Union leech.

Can you see how easy it would be for someone to smuggle a WMD into your small country and show up at any one of those protests? If you do, you are smarter than a lot of Americans, including Howard Dean, Jay Rockelfeller, and Carl Levin.

This should be a "wake up" call for Danes and ALL westerners.According to Wikipedia(sp?)muslims comprise aprox 4% of the population of Denmark(not exactly a large minority). Now they're burning the Danish flag. What's next, riots, car bombings,...?

"Well, the daily is hardly changed except that the media is overflowing with news on burning flags and images, and new threats on the Danes working in the Middle East."

It's interesting to note that it was the dispicable leftist media that started this uprising, and now this same dispicable media are capitalizing on the violence that they themselves set in motion.

I'm not blaming anybody but the muslims for their own barbaric behavior, but I am pointing out that the media are intentionally flaming the fires of global tenstions in various ways, not the least of which are their horrendous distortions on the Iraqi war and their nonstop attacks on the U.S. government regarding the WOT. I hold the corrupt media in the same contempt as I do islam for the latest islamofascist uprising.

Anyway, I'm sure we stand beside the Danish people all the way in the WOT, but I hope they remember it was their own liberal doctrines that allowed islam to swarm into their culture and encroach on their lifestyle in the first place. But I hope now is the time for the West, Christianity and all people who love peace and democracy to unite against these barbarians and crush them now, rather than leave an even worse situation for our children.

It is easy to feel left alone with all of the muslim world against us.

Oh, I don't think we Americans need any help imagining how it is to feel abandoned in the world.

Just three comments:

1) Interesting and disturbing that the email writer did not want his name printed.

2) He ends with, "God bless America! God bless Denmark and the strong bonds between our nations... It seems that the only time America is appreciated is when we are needed. (WWI, WWII, NOW!!!)

3) Anybody have a link for where I can order some Danish Bacon?

Talking about religion in most Islamic countries will get in trouble. Advocating the Christian faith may even get you killed or land you in jail (by their laws). They flat out forbid the building of churches in MOST Islamic nations. In Jordan the editors who reprinted the pictures in question were immediately fired. Ask Rushdie what happens with people who practice free-speech.

Ironically, the same people who rip their mouth open in Europe about free-speech and religious tolerance and how it's a "multi-ethnic" society which should not favor any religion or race etc will preach violence and death to those who do not convert or have the same view as they in their home.

It's a one sided road where the "Islamist" KNOWS HIS RIGHTS when in Europe or the US, but will quickly stuff a sock in your mouth when in his part of the world.

The sad part about this is that this has been going on for years! Christians have been getting “murdered” because of their faith. People are oppressed and just “conversation” about religion is illegal in many parts of their world, but ask them if they think they have a “RIGHT” to build a mosque in a major European or US city? Ask if they have a “RIGHT” to free-speech and actively advertise and recruit people to their faith. Ask if they have a “RIGHT” to be protected by the police and society’s laws and rules. In fact, organizations like the ACLU will quickly stand up for their defense, but who protested after Richard Pearl was murdered? What Islamic groups condemned this?

They see themselves in a world where its “Them against us”, and anyone not accepting the prophet Mohammed is lesser. Most of the Western world lives in a secular oblivion of this fact. We don’t value religion in parts of the West and certain subcultures as much and even those who do tend to be tolerant of other faiths. We don’t see the world in terms of “Us against them”, as they do us. Slowly I think the liberal media will find itself hard pressed to deny the truth.

Mr Fortyn
Van Gogh
Madrid
London
France riots
Now this in Denmark.

How do you minimize this? How can the secular, the leftist possibly pretend there is no issue? After 9-11 and all the other attacks on the US the European quickly embraced the idea that “somehow” we brought that on ourselves. Of course Russia deserved it too! They were just reaping the harvest sown in Afghanistan and elsewhere. So the European “rationalized” the Moscow theater, Beslan, Plane hijackings that were flown into the ground, train bombings, kidnappings, assassination of the Chechen President…….. Even Great Britain “SOMEHOW” deserved what they got because they after all are “America’s Poodle” in the new Eurocentric mind. Of course Mr Fortyn (Dutch parliament member assassinated for making anti-Islamic comments), Van Gogh (Assassinated for making anti-Islamic movie), Rushdie (Living in exile and life threatened for making anti-Islamic comments in book), France’s riots etc are all quickly forgotten or minimized in significance. “Oh, it’s just disenfranchised and mis-understood youth in France. It really wasn;t such a big deal, I mean they were just rioting in a dozen cities and burning an average of 80 cars a night, shotting a police with shotguns, but no big deal! And who is this Van Gogh guy anyway? The media don't talk about him! So the even might as well not even have happened!" But how can they really rationalize what is now unfolding? It will be interesting to see.

"So they have a state church. What's the problem with that?"

Maybe the citizens support that state church with taxes, whether they belong to it or not? Just a guess, I don't reall know. Anyway, having a 'state church' tends to exclude other churches to a degree, and emits a sense of religious persecution.

"...They still have a state church..."

A state church that is barely attended. I spent some time in Denmark back in '81. One Sunday morning I attended a church service in the local church, about 800 years old. There were only 3 or 4 of us in the congregation...it felt pretty strange.

Very sad situation in Denmark, the Netherlands, all the EU. Deporting Muslim terrorists/troublemakers should be an option. Anyone who can't or won't adapt to Danish customs and laws should be kicked out.

OOOOOOO! That sounds good.

In fact, Knorr soups can be the basis for many dishes. But always, remember the beer!

Israel is smaller and more alone.

Look around and listen Europeans.

If you begin to hear in conversations among yourselves that maybe all those years when you sided with the Arabs against Israel, when you berated Israel by rote, when you voted in International bodies to condemn Israel, maybe, just maybe, Israel has been in the right all along.

Maybe Israel has been fighting from its very existence the same scourge you now fear. Doing it almost alone while you on the sidelines cheered on those you target you.

If you begin to hear such conversations, you may still have a chance.
