Since I first mentioned Judith Apter Klinghoffer and Little Green Football's idea to "Buy Danish" to support Denmark in the cartoon wars, a bunch of new websites and campaigns have been launched. I've compiled a few resources below. A special request for those of you getting ready to stock up for Super Bowl Sunday: Skip the nachos and Velveeta cheese. Go Danish!

Hi CO!
Bring this boycott to Canada! And, if anyone can, you can!
ECCO shoes are the best..the ost recent pair was made in Slovakia.
If you had clicked the picture, it would have taken you to the article. They're Presbyterians...not Episcopalians.
Excerpt: "Jeff Halvorsen and George Cisneros exchanged vows in January at South Presbyterian Church in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Their commitment was blessed by the Rev. Susan DeGeorge, one of several Presbyterian clergy who have conducted several such ceremonies."
OOPS!
LOL!! That is awesome. Seriously, who doesn't like Legos? They probably don't even know who makes them.
If you get some new Malkin pics - please be sure to post them!!
It would be fun to have breakfast with Malkin, (preferrably in bed!)
Back from the store! What fun it is to shop to support something, rather than trying to avoid certain things!
I found (all products of Denmark!):
Havarti Cheese - 1 lb.
Blue cheese - 1 wedge
Fontina cheese wedge (woo-hoo! this will be great for my Baked rigatoni!)
Knorr pesto seasoning packets
Knorr spinach mix (florentine)/soup box
FRIS Vodka (neat bottle!)
I couldn't find:
Danish ham
Danish cookies
Carlsberg, or any other Danish beer for that matter.
And... Danish... Danishes!
So even in "big cities" like San Diego, not all of this is easy to find at the major grocery.
I bought Havarti cheese today too! And am spreading the word via e-mail to friends on what products to buy so we can support the Danish people.
I really like her. This womens husband is a very lucky guy!
:o)
Salute to Mrs. Malkin.
Danish Ham seems quite appropriate.
I'm going to hang the Dannebrog tonight next to the U.S. flag to show my support!
Ra for Denamrk!
KNORR seasonings!! I picked up a package of that the other day, I couldn't find the English language on it [all spanish] so I put it promptly back on the shelf. I'm getting sick and tired of seeing spanish everywhere. After all this is America.

Don't forget, the Danes opted out of the Euro currency and closed their country to Muslim asylum seekers. The Danes took a lot of flack for both moves from the rest of the EU countries. They are way ahead of the rest of the EU.
I didn't forget because I didn't know that. I just assumed they accompanied their fellow Europeans down the crapper.
I apologize and I WILL buy Danish :}
That's all well and good - but there's no way I can afford that kind of Danish product.
Except that there's a navel - and you can see it.
