The Merc, in a nod to Muzzie sensitivities and thin skin, merely showed a very tiny picture on page A14 of the front page of the German newspaper Die Bild which showed one of the mild cartoons. Even this is too much for our thin-skinned friends.

I especially like the notion of our local congregants responding in the spirit of Islam. I guess that means we can look forward to some Bay Area beheadings, suicide bombings, kidnappings, and embassy burnings in the coming days.

I don't understand why everyone seems to make this situation so complicated.

They want all of Western Civilization dead. Most of Western Civilization would like to see them dead.

Why don't both sides just get together and resolve the issue?
