Teresa Heinz Bankrolling Hillary Clinton
Billionaire ketchup queen Teresa Heinz is helping to bankroll Hillary Clinton's Senate reelection race with a contribution that Mrs. Clinton will be able to use when she runs for president in 2008 - against John Kerry.
It's not clear whether Mrs. Heinz's $2,100 maximum donation signals a rift within the Kerry household. But while Sen. Kerry has made his 2008 intentions apparent, his wife has been more circumspect of late.
"We’ll know by the end of the year," she said in January, when asked whether her husband would rule out another presidential bid.
Gossip maven Tina Brown recently wrote in Britain's Spectator magazine that Kerry insiders are counting on a new Bill Clinton scandal to sink Hillary's presidential prospects.
But with the wealthy Mrs. Heinz filling Hillary's campaign coffers, it appears she doesn't subscribe to Brown's theory.

It's not even rounding off change. For Teresa, it's more like that penny that drops out of your hand when you're fishing for change and rolls under the counter. Not worth crawling after it.
I don't think Teresa holds a financial interest in Heinz any longer. The money is in trust and may not hold any stock in Heinz. May have been diversified into other vehicles.

Why do they think another scandal will be any different than all the others? Fools will stand behind these immoral twits no matter what happens.
Maybe (but I doubt it) the next election will finally prove to these Dims that people weren't voting for Kerry, but against our beloved leader.

You are correct. Lady Macbeth is bullet proof until she runs as the nominee. Even that post may be hard to get. Another scandal? America is like the patient who has had 20 surgeries. One more? Hah! No problem.
I would love to see Clinton lose the presidential race 60-40 to a real conservative. That would not be McCain or Romney.
Here's another theory. Theresa really wants to be first lady. If she can't get their with JFK-wannabe, then maybe she'll do it with Hillary. Once Hillary becomes President she can ditch Bill, come out of the closet, and invite her "life partner" to the WH. Not only our first female President, but our first lesbian President too. Maybe Theresa wants to be Hillary's personal carpet cleaner.
Truth in advertising--the chances of the above happening are less than zero, but it's still fun to speculate.
She changed her name to Kerry after John F'in decided to run for President , Now she has changed it back to Heinz and she isnt about to change it to Kerry again. She loves the Senate parties and being on the A list for political invitations a lot more than she loves any man, thats a sure thing.
