What exactly does that word "Armageddon" actually mean???

It is another name for the plain of Megiddo in Israel where the battle at the Second Coming will be fought. It is rendered Har-Magedon in Revelation.

More specifically Har means Hill or Mount. Megiddo is an ancient Canaanite city used by Solomon as a cavalry post. It overlooks the Jezreel valley which connects the Valley of the Jarden / Jordan with the coastal plain. If you're going to fight for the region you'll meet there - Egyptian, Assyrian, or Israeli. Armegeddon is an English transliteration of a Greek transliteration.
