SAFAGA, Egypt - An Egyptian passenger ferry carrying nearly 1,400 people sank in the Red Sea early Friday during bad weather, and rescue ships and helicopters pulled dozens of survivors and bodies from the water. At least 263 escaped on lifeboats, the transport minister said.

“It’s a roll-on, roll-off ferry, and there is big question mark over the stability of this kind of ship,” said David Osler of the London shipping paper Lloyds List. “It would only take a bit of water to get on board this ship and it would be all over. ... The percentage of this type of ferry involved in this type of disaster is huge.”
Some of us, myself included, earlier speculated that this was likely sabotage. I withdraw that speculation, since this was far more likely the kind of disaster that earlier occurred in the Baltic Sea, for example.
Why do I get the feeling that the "gates" or "doors" weren't locked in place, and thus the ferry was swamped.
Blame the jews...
Man, that's a lot of sinks. How many people does it carry?
It's possible, but the earlier sinkings of this type of ferry have often involved design defects instead of the doors not being properly secured.

It has been reported that Egypt turned down an offer of ships to help from Israel.
And they won't accept any help from any of us heathens -
go figure.
Clearly this was Allah's judgement against these westernized Muslims who have lost their way. Allah be praised.
