Sandy Berger: Bush 'Breaking' the Military

Disgraced former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger is blasting President Bush for undermining U.S. defenses by "breaking" the military.

A just-released report co-authored by Berger and several other top Clinton administration officials complains: "We believe that the Bush administration has broken faith with the American soldier and Marine."

According to the web site ISN Security Watch, the report by Berger & Co. contends that the Bush administration's poor planning ahead of the Iraq war, a shortage of troops and not enough equipment or protection for troops could result in "breaking the force."

The disgraced Clinton official offered his national security criticisms despite pleading guilty less than a year ago to stealing and destroying top secret national security documents in a bid to thwart the 9/11 Commission investigation.

Yep. Not even a common thief. He deals in classified documents. He should have been shot, but that's just me.

How does this guy even get any press coverage?

Isn't there some kind of inescapable credibility sinkhole or something?

I'd tell Sandy to put a sock in it, but the documents might get in the way.

Sandy obviously learned all this from stolen classified documents.

I wonder what the folks over at DUmmie Land will make of this story.

Do these idiots realize that the majority of voters will never believe any word they say because they lie all the time? Do they realize that the majority of voters will never trust the democrats over President Bush and the Republican party when it comes to national security and defense? These clowns are extremely despicable and pathetic.

This is the guy who was caught stealing documents about the Clinton administration's actions before the 9/11 commission had a chance to look at them.

Sandy Berger: Bush 'Breaking' the Military

This CROOK lost his moral right to comment on anything in politics. Taking TOP SECRET + documents out in his drawers and getting probation and slap on wrist - how pathetic of the Bush Administration. This man should be sitting in a jail cell for many years. He undoubtedly took and altered documents leading up to 911 so the Toon history will never be written correctly. GWB was a chump on this one - it is his DOJ.
