Muslim extremists are using the furor over the Prophet Mohammed cartoons published in European newspapers to rally the faithful to a jihad (holy war), in several Internet postings.
"Brothers, it's war against Islam ..., grab your swords," says hardline Saudi cleric Sheikh Badr Bin Nader Al Mashari in a voice recording posted on an Islamist Website.
"Slit their throats in the style of [Abu Mussab] Al Zarqawi," he said referring to Iraq's most-wanted militant and leader of Al Qaeda in the war-torn country.
He said that the cartoons - first published by a Danish newspaper in September with several other European papers following suit over the past week - are "part of the war waged by the decadent West against the triumphant Islam".
"To the billion Muslims: where are your arms? Your enemies have trampled on the Prophet. Rise up," screamed the sheikh, who is the imam of a mosque in Riyadh, amid the cries of the faithful listening to his speech.
Muslim bloggers even launched a Website, www.no4denmark.com, exhorting the faithful to boycott Danish products.
Danish dairy products have already been banned from supermarkets in most Arab countries in the wake of the crisis.

These people need a serious desensitizing. I suggest running insulting cartoons daily until they become immune to it.
Any excuse for a jihad. These people need to get a life.
It's a win-win for everyone.
But throat slitting is not a reasonable response.
It appears that many Moslems are still stuck in the 7th century and don't know the basics of modernism, so I thought I'd point this out.
And yet no savvy reporters are asking this question: with all this furor over a cartoon; shouldn't the murder of thousands of innocent citizens in lower Manhattan, Bali, Washington, London and Spain bring about the same protestations?
"Slit their throats in the style of [Abu Mussab] Al Zarqawi,"
(rolling eyes)No news here, the R.O.P. spouts this dribble everyday. What a bunch of Third World Loosers.
Towel-head grabs his sword, chuckling evilly...
...the weary American just pulls out his pistol and shoots him.
"To the billion Muslims: where are your arms? Your enemies have trampled on the Prophet. Rise up," screamed the sheikh, who is the imam of a mosque in Riyadh, amid the cries of the faithful listening to his speech.
Big surprise that Saudi Arabia allows this nonsense to go on, I wonder if SA will now be put on our list...
How illuminating that radical Muslims are so insecure in their faith that simple jibes drive them to such a murderous rage. Arrested development is so pathetic, these folks are such damaged goods.
Boondoggles like this only point out the immaturity on radical Islamists, this is what ignorance breeds.

Just like mad dogs!
"Brothers, it's war against Islam ..., grab your swords,"
Never bring a sword to a gun fight.
"These people need a serious desensitizing. I suggest running insulting cartoons daily until they become immune to it."
My thoughts exactly.
Islam is of course more than just a religion, it is a totalitarian movement comprised of 1.3 billion members.
Interesting...The picture I've always had of mohammed however, is a little more along the lines of this...
Does any Freeper out there know of an outfit that can produce a rubber ink stamp that would stamp out an ink image of the one of these cartoons. The Muhammed with with the bomb in the turban is the perfect one. We can then get them distributed to each other somehow and get them to friends. Carry them with you wherever you go! Paint the USA!
Wouldn't moon-man look great on a certain country's currency*wink*nod*green*CMA..Just like that the Where's George stamps going around on the dollar bills now. This could grow exponentially!!!!
The reaction of the Muslims is so silly that it's likely the Euros now have their backs up over this free speech issue and are going to see how far they can push it.
I swear this sounds like an SNL skit.
