For years, we've wondered "where's the outrage" of mainstream Muslims when their religion is hijacked by extremists who kill.

All we've heard is silence.

Publish a cartoon, and now these silent Muslims can't restrain their outrage.

Perhaps we've taken the politically correct road for too long.

If the Muslims want to use this reason to begin their new (and last) war to conquer Europe, so be it. In the long view of history, it may turn out that this was a fortuitous move by the Europeans: they "started" the war -- with cartoons, mind you -- while they still have the numbers (and technology) to crush the menace of Islam.

From a socio-cultural point of view, it may finally wake up the Europeans who have been turning a blind eye to this problem. (A problem, I must add, that was mostly of their own making, with their "tolerance" and policies of unchecked immigration.)

And from a US security point of view, it may take some heat off the U.S. for a while, as combative Muslims target their focus elsewhere. Don't misunderstand, I don't wish any harm or terrorism on the Europeans or anyone else -- but a brief respite for us could be a strategic asset in the war on terror.

World War 3 started with the printing of Cartoons?

World War 3 started with planes flying into the World Trade Center in NYC...and then the Paentagon and finally the feild in Shanksville...people don't seem to like to say this out loud...and many (leftists) have been slow to join but that is what brought us to this.

Please Buy ARLA FOODS Products

Boycott costing Arla £1m per day

Danish-Swedish dairy giant Arla Foods says the ongoing boycott of Danish products in the Middle East had so far cost it between £40m and £50m.

As the Muslim world refuses to buy Danish goods in protest over cartoons published in a Danish newspaper, Arla is losing £1m a day.

Please concentrate your buying on Arla Foods products. That's the Danish company mostly hit by the boycott here due to her extensive business dealings in the Gulf area.

Some people might ask me why I am doing this? Why I am swimming against the tide? I'm doing this because two things raise my temper: a baby screaming and childish acts. I consider this boycott one of the most childish things I've ever seen.

An INDEPENDENT, can you hear this word my fellow Arabs and Muslims, INDEPENDENT, newspaper published insulting cartoons of the prophet, what does Arla Foods, a company that employs thousands here, have to do with it???

OK you got your semi-apology (the paper did NOT apologize for the cartoons), are you happy now? Well, look what you've got along with this semi-apology from J-Posten. You managed to incite papers around Europe to publish the same cartoons, and you managed to convince billions of how childish you are and how unready you are to embrace the values of liberal democracy. You might be ready to throw a ballot in a ballot box and draw a grin on your face afterwards, yet you are NOT ready to embrace the values of an open free system that will give the right to idiots such as J-Posten to publish stuff you don't like.

Grow up, pleeeeeeeeeeeeease grow up.

Arla Foods are very active in the US. They have a good range of products there. Check their American website here and here.

BUY ARLA

Jordanian Paper Publishes Cartoons
(scroll down for updates)

The Jordanian weekly paper "Shayhan" published 3 of the J-Posten cartoons and urged Muslims to think rationally.

The paper's editor, Jihad El Momeni, had something very interesting to say. "What insults Islam more?" he asked in his editorial. "a foreigner who drew the prophet or a Muslim who donned a bomb belt and committed suicide in the midst of a wedding party in Amman or anywhere else?"

"What forces the world more to blaspheme Islam, cartoon drawings or a real beheading scene of a hostage with the cry of "Allahu Akbar" being heard in the background?" El Momeni asked.

Mr. Momeni, you definitely have my respect.

Source: Al Arabiya (Arabic)

Update: Ladies and gentlemen, do you really want to know why we will stay in this abyss of stupidity and irrationality for so long? It's not because we don't have those who think rationally, it's because those who think rationally and force us to look in the mirror are often persecuted and banned. The editor of this Jordanian paper was fired today!

A Holocaust Conversation

Whenever I discuss the J-Posten cartoons with anyone, I always hear the same comment: why is it OK to draw insulting cartoons of the prophet Muhammed while it is not OK to discuss the holocaust? Go to any Arabic internet forum and you will find the same comment.

See, we are a nation obsessed with Jews. We see them behind everything, behind every rock. It’s so funny that people here are asking why it is not OK to discuss the holocaust in a number of European countries and not whether it is OK to draw insulting cartoons of Jesus or any Christian figure.

Anyway, below is a recent conversation I had with a friend. I’ll call him M.

M: have you heard of this cartoons thing?
BP: Yes
M: I am wondering what kind of freedom of speech they are talking about. It is OK to draw insulting cartoons of the prophet while it is forbidden to discuss the holocaust.
BP: Well, only a few countries in Europe have these “holocaust rules” and even though I am against such rules, I still see that the holocaust issue is very different than the one we have at hand.
M: how?
BP: Let me tell you. In countries that have these “holocaust rules”, you might get in trouble if you denied the holocaust because of the rules that these countries have instituted. I don’t agree with these rules, I believe that nothing is beyond discussion. However, because of the magnitude of the massacre, the 6 million Jews who were killed in just a few years, these countries government decided to promulgate such laws.
M: The number is not 6 million! It is much less.
BP: ok whatever, 4 million.
M: NOOO, less.
BP: ummmmmm 2 million
M: No no less. Around 500,000. Jews are exaggerating the holocaust to draw concessions from European countries.
BP: 500,000??!! OK..that’s still a lot! Anyway, we’re drifting from our main topic here. What I wanted to say is that you might get in trouble if you denied the holocaust for yet you won’t get in trouble if you wrote a book saying that the Torah is a bunch of fairy tales and the Talmud was written by crazy maniacs. And you would definitely not get in trouble if you drew cartoons of Moses. You might offend some people, yet it’s not illegal to do so and you would find many people who don’t agree with you yet will defend your right to say whatever you want.
M: Then why can’t they deny the holocaust??
BP: I just told you..First, only few European countries have these laws. Second, they have them because of the magnitude of the disaster and the hope that it won’t happen again. Third, while it might not be OK to deny the holocaust or engage in anti-Semitism (hate towards Jews), it is perfectly OK to discuss or analyze or lambaste the Jewish faith and its characters. I hope you notice the difference here.
Another thing. Did you know that France, which recognizes the Armenian genocide, have the same laws regarding what happened to the Armenians during world war one. So this proves my point. It’s not only about the holocaust!
M: Jews knew how to gain concessions and apologizes by exaggerating their suffering. Their lobbies are so powerful there.
BP: Well, I can’t say anything but “good job”. They’re smart. Nothing wrong with highlighting your sufferings. We do the same by the way with the Palestinians. We keep on saying how Israeli soldiers kill Palestinian women and children yet we don’t give a hoot about Iraqi women and children being killed by suicide bombers in every single day. That’s very ironic not to mention hypocritical.

BP: And by the way M..don’t forget to:
Buy
Danish

(Nah I didn’t really tell him that!)

French editor fired over cartoons

The editor of a French newspaper that printed a cartoon featuring the Prophet Muhammad on its front page has been sacked for offending Muslims.

Jacques Lefranc was dismissed by the owner of France Soir, as his paper became embroiled in a developing row between Muslims and European press.

However France Soir owner Raymond Lakah said in a statement to AFP he "decided to remove Jacques Lefranc as managing director of the publication as a powerful sign of respect for the intimate beliefs and convictions of every individual".

Raymond or Rami Lakah is an Egyptian multimillionaire businessman. He has enormous problems with his unpaid L.E 1.2 billion ($207 million) bank loans. He has dual nationalities, Egyptian and French, and that lead to the cancellation of his parliament membership.

Lakah is a Catholic Egyptian. I am so glad Lakah fired the editor because if it became publicly known that he owns France Soir, another nail will be hit in the Egyptian Muslim-Christian relations' coffin.

Oh Dear!!

European newspapers run Danish Islam cartoons

PARIS (Reuters) - Newspapers in France, Germany and Spain reprinted Danish caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed on Wednesday, saying press freedom was more important than protests and boycotts the cartoons have sparked across the Muslim world.

I am so angry!!! I'm boycotting:

Peugeot
Citroen
Renault
La Vache Qui Rit cheese
L'Oreal (mom has to give it up)
Mercedes
Opel
Fiat
spaghetti
Italy's Football league
.
.
.
.
.
.

Oh Dear!!!!

I hope an American paper won't publish the cartoons. Then I'll have to boycott blogger itself!

(Above post is tongue in cheek)

This story was just on CNN and they "showed" one of the cartoons but blurred out most of it. Is CNN running scared of the islamofacists? I think so.
