I was somewhat troubled by this. I have yet to find a reasonable explanation of why we ended up on the same side of the vote on this issue with Iranian National Socialists. Perhaps someone here has an explanation. I sure can't figure one out.
ECOSOC is one of those harmless U.N. talk shops. I would look forward to Condi's explanation of this at her next conference.

I'd seen your moniker and cartoon for awhile but didn't get it until I was introduced to Ghost in the Shell by my teens. Now I'm hooked too!
It's not clear that Condi had anything whatsoever to do with this, and I rather doubt that she did. The notion of an international body that can't find room for mainstream gay organizations in it's powerless "talk shops", but can find room for government like Zimbabwe's to be full voting members is preposterous. Then again, we already knew the UN was preposterous, and I think any group that wants to be a part of any UN activity needs its collective head examined.
