It's not clear that Condi had anything whatsoever to do with this, and I rather doubt that she did. The notion of an international body that can't find room for mainstream gay organizations in it's powerless "talk shops", but can find room for government like Zimbabwe's to be full voting members is preposterous. Then again, we already knew the UN was preposterous, and I think any group that wants to be a part of any UN activity needs its collective head examined.

I think it the ultimate slap in the face.

However, we (sadly) have to keep in mind that a number of treaties have been signed by the USA which have self interest value to us.

I think the fact this group was rejected has very significant value. Much of the world does not buy the US ivory tower BS of "born" but goes with the chosen behavior scientific approach on homsoexuals.
