In case you hadn't noticed, we are at war with Mexico. At the present time we are being occupied.

Oh please, we're not at war, and we're not being occupied. Blatantly false rhetoric doesn't further any cause.

Oh really?

Sheriff warns of terrorist threats on border

HOUSTON — A West Texas sheriff's deputy warned federal lawmakers Friday that drug traffickers are helping terrorists with possible al Qaeda ties cross the porous Texas-Mexico border into the United States.

Terry Simons, the chief deputy in Val Verde County, offered little evidence of his claims. An FBI special agent in Houston, Shauna Dunlap, said there is "no credible evidence" that supports the warning.

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, said in Austin on Friday that border security is an issue that is high on the Senate's agenda.

Simons, part of a group that has been pushing state and federal officials for more funding for law enforcement on the border, told members of Congress meeting in Houston that Texas authorities have learned of newly established camps in Mexico where "narcoterror- ists" are being trained in "escape and evasion, as well as fighting techniques and combat maneuvering."

Simons also said the FBI has informed border sheriffs that Muslims with possible al Qaeda ties are training with them.

But, I guess you side with the Gub'Mint here...right? Falling back on the "Credible evidence" line...meaning we will deny it all until we can't cover it up anymore, then we'll say it's no big deal!

And there were no Mexican Military units smuggling contraband into Texas recently...right?

Actually, we are at war. It is called the War on Terror. The border is not secure and terrorists will, if they haven't already done so, cross that border and strike the U.S. We are also in a war against drugs. Drugs are killing people and destroying lives and families. I've seen it with my own eyes. Most of those drugs cross that damned border. Many law enforcement agencies in various cities have declared their own war on crime. A disproportionate number of convicted criminals in our prisons are illegal aliens who illegally crossed the southern border. They're not in jail from immigration crimes. They are in jail for theft, assault, rape, murder, etc. There's three wars right there. We're also in a cultural war and traditional America is losing. We are being occupied as recent numbers show that there are 20 million invaders in our country. That is 6 percent of the people within our borders. If anyone is being blatantly false it is you.

Thanks for displaying your ignorance for the whole forum to see. Five between three and five million a year are coming over our border. What do you call that, a picnic?
