In the past few days, Hudspeth County Sheriff's Department deputies and their families have received threats to stay off the Rio Grande. Sheriff Arvin West told ABC-7 Thursday morning, before departing for Houston that the Mexican military is behind all of this.
Sheriff West said, "There is no doubt in my mind -- from the first time going back to a couple of years ago and every time in between --- it's the Mexican military. In a nutshell, everybody's been trying to tell everybody that they were here...they've been here ...[and] they come here quite often, regularly."

Your point being? Texas is a state in the United States, not a part of mexico, English is the official language not spanish.
Maybe the fact that his wife is hispanic has something to do with it, I don't know.
We just returned from a road trip that took us from Seattle, down to Bakersfield Ca, through Vegas, down to Az, and back.
Many of us stay up on the immigration topic here on FR, but seeing the effects of this invasion first hand is devastating.
Yeah you have to see it to believe it. We live in Bakersfield. Just had some relatives visiting from back east, they couldn't believe it. In East Bakersfield there are parts that look just like Mexico. Graffitti everywhere, billboards in spanish, every business is mexican. Lamont (one of our small communities) is 97% latino. Hubby used to work out there. The sheriffs and firefighters joke that they work in Lamont.....where murder is still a misdemeanor.
We are looking to get out.....and soon.
Kern county is textbook Illegal Alien paradigm and has the unemployment, education and health systems to prove it.
I think the most shocking was Las Vegas. We overshot an exit and had to do some surface streets through North Las Vegas, it was identical to the worst areas of Tijuana.
That is not to say there wasn't a very noticeable presence in the majority of places we stopped
I wish you luck in your search for a new home. We left LA about 12 years ago for a small town in the pacific north west. There is a bit of an Illegal presence here as well though.
Roger Hedgecock was giving facts this morning that in San Diego Citi Bank is giving home loans to illegals at 1% under the going rate AND assisting with the downpayments.
Here we have a local realtor who is helping illegals buy homes -- with multiple families per home -- and she brags that she doesn't care because she plans to make as much money off of them as possible and then retire and move somewhere else.
The first generation (when they first come here) are not tatooed, gangbanger-types and as a rule are on the conservative side, but their offspring are in gangs before they are waist high and you see the tatoos, graffiti, etc.
Most of the employers are not interested in that group of people, they are interested in the first groups who are truly hard working people looking for a better life.
What the first and the second group brings, however isn't pride of property and most seem to trash wherever they live...
I don't know how many people here saw Anderson Coopers detailed investigative report in East Los Angeles. IMHO every American should have seen it... one heartbreaking thing was a woman with two sons, one was a really good kid and went into the military to make something of his life, comes home from Iraq on leave and sitting on the front porch shot dead by gangs -- they were after the other brother and didn't know this one was home on leave so shot him thinking he was the other -- a few months later the gangs managed to shoot, and kill, the other brother.

Yes our unemployment rate runs 11-13% on average. Our schools are overloaded and mostly bi-lingual. Our county Board of Supervisors "loaned" the county hospital $60 mil recently. The state has agreed to payback $39 mil. Illegals use the county hospital as a doctor's office.
Sad to say but this is all coming to your state soon unless it is stopped.
That only works until she finds she has no other place without a majority of illegals to move...

I am a business owner. I know other business owners which do employ Illegals. I assure you, they could not care less why Illegals come, their only concern is how little they can pay them.
Then I will ask you on the open forum. What was your past Freeper handle before 2004 and what is your handle over at ALIPAC?
My FReeper handle has never changed.
"...and what is your handle over at ALIPAC?"
I do not have a handle at ALIPAC and in fact have never been to that site.
Now it's time for you to answer my question.
Loyal American conservatives believe strongly in protecting American sovereignty, secure borders, and the preservation of American culture, customs, traditions and language. These are among the most important of the bedrock values held sacred by loyal American conservatives. They are my values and the values of the other loyal American conservatives on FR.
Do you accept these values as your own, without condition or qualification, yes or no?
Funny that your freeper handle has never changed, nothing here before January 2004 about Czar yet you have a 5 year prior sign up and most of your pingers are sign ups at ALIPAC
* crickets *
Still waiting for your answer as your former freeper handle and your current ALIPAC handle. Czar has not made a post prior to 2004 yet you sport a sign up date many years earlier, care to explain or is there some post you may not be proud of.
ho hum.....the silence is quite deafening, isn't it?
Yes it is from Czar, Out your former fr handle.
I suspect it used to be East before someone stuck a fork in them because they were done.
oh, yeah right.....all these conspiracy theories you're dreaming up...on that you're not silent.
well over done and over the top. : )
