In 2004, I wrote in Tom Tancredo...because I will not support the America that trades the Presidency between two families, Bush and Clinton.

Clinton/Bush scared many of us away, making us realize that the "two party system" doesn't exist anymore, it's becoming a self-proclaimed aristocracy by two families.

Most Americans are sick of the whole crooked bunch. The halls of Washington need a good cleaning out!

Do you expect the fed government to confess to being in denial?

So janet, how do you propose to do that in a period of one or two election cycles ?

Well of course not, but what is the alternative? Have the followers of mother sheehan and george soros elect our next officials? This is where the danger is.

Oh please, we're not at war, and we're not being occupied. Blatantly false rhetoric doesn't further any cause.

Actually, we are at war. It is called the War on Terror. The border is not secure and terrorists will, if they haven't already done so, cross that border and strike the U.S. We are also in a war against drugs. Drugs are killing people and destroying lives and families. I've seen it with my own eyes. Most of those drugs cross that damned border. Many law enforcement agencies in various cities have declared their own war on crime. A disproportionate number of convicted criminals in our prisons are illegal aliens who illegally crossed the southern border. They're not in jail from immigration crimes. They are in jail for theft, assault, rape, murder, etc. There's three wars right there. We're also in a cultural war and traditional America is losing. We are being occupied as recent numbers show that there are 20 million invaders in our country. That is 6 percent of the people within our borders. If anyone is being blatantly false it is you.

I wish I had the influence to do it by 2008, but unfortunately I don't. The first step is to clean out the halls of the House and Senate this year, and deny re-election to the traitorous open borders crowd that gathers there.

The Presidency? Because of the mess Mr. Bush has created, I doubt that the GOP will win in '08. More and more Americans are waking up to the corruption there, no matter to which party the President claims membership, and they're realizing that the "two" parties are in bed together.

Hopefully the next generation will be smarter than we were, and will take back America by electing a strong pro-American presidential candidate, something we've not seen in the White House for MANY years.

So, if the GOP does not win in '08 what is that going to give us? I shudder to think how the left will fight this WOT. And that is our immediate threat.

Thanks for displaying your ignorance for the whole forum to see. Five between three and five million a year are coming over our border. What do you call that, a picnic?

what is that going to give us?

Hillary or someone just as bad.

The GOP needs to stop backing globalists if they expect Americans to take their bait again. America wants a President who will enforce the laws and actually represent Americans. Americans want a President who won't sell us out like Clinton and Bush did.

No to McCain and the rest of his open borders/globalist buddies. Our choices have been PUTRID.

Of course not but do you have anyone in mind with a remote chance of winning in '08 who will be a constitutionalist? Those that have been critisizing me on this thread think I am on the left, wrong by a long shot. I just have not seen any plausible alternatives that will work. I do know that undermining the GOP could lead to much worse conditions if the left ever gets power.

My point is that if the Republicans can win with the disasterous border policy they have in place now, it won't make much difference if they win or lose. Our nation is being over-run and most people haven't a clue when it comes to how much devistation is being done to our nation's health.

Schools are being over-run all over this nation. Our children are having to spend hours reading, while the Mexican nationals are taught English.

This is sick. One party would love to turn this into 1917 Russia. The other would like to turn it into 2006 Tijuana.

Screw them both! I voted straight Republican for as long as I've been voting until 2000. I knew Bush's border policies would suck and his spending would rival that of a drunken democrat.

I voted for him in 2004, but I am not sure I can go the Republican party in 2008. For the first time in my life, I may not even cast a presidential vote in 2008.

Hey, if they're going to play FDR or Pancho Via, what's the point?

No! I'm sorry, but I'm sick to death of play the lesser of two evils game. When the Rs play that game in the future, they're going to lose my vote.

When they want to get elected again, they can return to their roots and I'll be right there waiting.
