by Cheri Tips
January 19, 2006

This urgent alert is being sent to all Congress Members.

Even I, as a hardened health-freedom fighter, became physically ill putting this information together to alert you, the reader, to one of the most damning acts against America and its citizens. If you are a true American, the information that I will convey, should make your blood boil. The issue is quite convoluted, involving a number of players, and to fully envision the total impact of this legislation, please thoroughly read through the information below, then alert everyone you know and contact your Congressperson in opposition.

Why should you actively oppose this legislation?

Don't let this become one of your last acts of exercising your constitutional rights. Fight back now and help the NHF turn America away from this disastrous road to harmonization and union that will result in the loss of our health and other freedoms.

Please read further to fully understand the full scope of this dangerous legislation.

The Players and Their Instruments of Destruction

The

North American Security Cooperative Act is touted as a bill to protect the American public from terrorists by creating the North American Union.  The North American Union consists of three countries, U.S., Canada, and Mexico, with open borders, something that is proposed to be in effect by 2010.  Thus, it would ensure the fulfillment of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. See:  http://www.spp.gov/spp/factsheet.asp?dName=fact_sheets.

This is sheep's clothing billed as for the good of security and the economies, but it truly means the end of America and U.S. sovereignty. Many things tie together -the passage of NAFTA, CAFTA, the forthcoming

FTAA (Free Trade Areas of the Americas), which we must oppose, Task Force Report #53 (Building a North American Community), FDA - already making plans to harmonize with Canada and Mexico via the Trilateral Cooperation Charter.  The completion of the Interstate 69 Corridor (Trans Texas Corridor), which the Texas State Legislature voted for and passed in June 2003, H.R. 3585. This huge highway project, with sections already completed, will run through the United States from its southern border of Mexico through to the northern border of Canada, and will be the icing on the cake for those who want to dissolve the American way of life. http://www.i69info.com/state.html

We must lobby Congress to prevent losing America as we know it and the rights for freedom that our forefathers struggled so hard to retain. We must oppose being harmonized to international standards, prevent the implementation of a European Union type status reminiscent of what has occurred with the UK and the EU, fight to retain our constitutional rights, and our DSHEA rights that will not exist if we are to be harmonized to international Codex standards.

Please review the information and articles below detailing the documents and entities that are currently involved in removing American freedom forever:

An excellent article by Steven Yates, "Erasing America" details the plans of the Council on Foreign Affairs and their documented plan -Building a North American Community.

Building a North American Community - Council on Foreign Relations

Overview of the report:

Task Force Report No. 53

Press Releases: English | French | Spanish

Sponsored by the Council on Foreign Relations in association with the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and the Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales.

North America is vulnerable on several fronts: the region faces terrorist and criminal security threats, increased economic competition from abroad, and uneven economic development at home. In response to these challenges, a trinational, Independent Task Force on the Future of North America has developed a roadmap to promote North American security and advance the well-being of citizens of all three countries.

When the leaders of Canada, Mexico, and the United States met in Texas recently they underscored the deep ties and shared principles of the three countries. The Council-sponsored Task Force applauds the announced "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America," but proposes a more ambitious vision of a new community by 2010 and specific recommendations on how to achieve it.

CAFTA -  requires us to create a Sanitary Phytosanitary Measures Committee which would pressure Congress into changing our laws as they pertain to dietary supplements, to harmonize to restrictive Codex standards, and the FTAA would go much further as discussed in this article "THE GROWING THREATS TO DSHEA"  written by NHF Vice-Chairman Paul Anthony Taylor.

http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/us/index.html

FDA - The FDA is already holding discussions with its counterparts in Canada and Mexico via the Trilateral Cooperation Charter http://www.fda.gov/oia/charter.html to set us up for harmonization even though the NORTH AMERICAN COOPERATIVE SECURITY ACT has not been passed into law. From the FDA's definition of "health fraud" in this "Cooperation Charter" it's apparent that the FDA wants to harmonize US law to restrictive Codex standards that go against the will of the people as abundantly declared in 1994 when we generated the largest volume of mail to congress on ANY issue in the HISTORY of congress when we passed the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994.

Excerpt from above link of the news coverage:

DOBBS: Border security is arguably the critical issue in this country's fight against radical Islamist terrorism. But our borders remain porous. So porous that three million illegal aliens entered this country last year, nearly all of them from Mexico.

Now, incredibly, a panel sponsored by the Council on Foreign Relations wants the United States to focus not on the defense of our own borders, but rather create what effectively would be a common border that includes Mexico and Canada.

Christine Romans has the report.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

CHRISTINE ROMANS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): On Capitol Hill, testimony calling for Americans to start thinking like citizens of North America and treat the U.S., Mexico, and Canada like one big country.

ROBERT PASTOR, IND. TASK FORCE ON NORTH AMERICA: The best way to secure the United States today is not at our two borders with Mexico and Canada, but at the borders of North America as a whole.

ROMANS: That's the view in a report called "Building a North American Community." It envisions a common border around the U.S., Mexico, and Canada in just five years, a border pass for residents of the three countries, and a freer flow of goods and people.

Task force member
Robert Pastor.

PASTOR: What we hope to accomplish by 2010 is a common external tariff which will mean that goods can move easily across the border. We want a common security perimeter around all of North America, so as to ease the travel of people within North America.

ROMANS: Buried in 49 pages of recommendations from the task force, the brief mention, "We must maintain respect for each other's sovereignty." But security experts say folding Mexico and Canada into the U.S. is a grave breach of that sovereignty.

FRANK GAFFNEY, CENTER FOR SECURITY POLICY: That's what would happen if anybody serious were to embrace this strategy for homogenizing the United States and its sovereignty with the very different systems existing today in Canada and Mexico.

ROMANS: Especially considering Mexico's problems with drug trafficking, human smuggling, and poverty. Critics say the country is just too far behind the U.S. and Canada to be included in a so-called common community. But the task force wants military and law enforcement cooperation between all three countries.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Indeed, an exchange of personnel that bring Canadians and Mexicans into the Department of Homeland Security.

ROMANS: And it wants temporary migrant worker programs expanded with full mobility of labor between the three countries in the next five years.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ROMANS: The idea here is to make North America more like the European Union. Yet, just this week, voters in two major countries in the European Union voted against upgrading -- updating the European constitution. So clearly, this is not the best week to be trying to sell that idea.

DOBBS: Americans must think that our political and academic elites have gone utterly mad at a time when three-and-a-half years, approaching four years after September 11, we still don't have border security. And this group of elites is talking about not defending our borders, finally, but rather creating new ones. It's astonishing.

ROMANS: The theory here is that we are stronger together, three countries in one, rather than alone.

DOBBS: Well, it's a -- it's a mind-boggling concept. Christine Romans, thank you, as always.

There is no greater example than our next story as to why the United States must maintain its border security with Mexico, and importantly, secure that border absolutely. The police chief of the violent Mexican border town, Nuevo Laredo, was today executed. It was his first day on the job.

Alejandro Dominguez, seen here at his swearing-in ceremony, was ambushed by a number of gunmen several hours just after that ceremony as he left his office. The assassins fired more than three dozen rounds that struck Dominguez.

He was the only person who volunteered to become Nuevo Laredo's police chief. The position has been vacant for weeks after the previous chief of police resigned. The town is at the center of what is a violent war between Mexican drug lords. The State Department has issued two travel warnings for Americans about that area just this year. And amazingly, the Mexican government calls those State Department warnings unnecessary.

You'd have to take over either NAM or the CofC.

Heh, it is Friday so I can wear my tin foil beanie with pride (Friday is my personal Conspiracy day)!

In all seriousness, I watched the History Channel show on Stalin last night. Alot of the old Soviet goals and plans have been reincarnated by the UN.

But we in the US are much better armed than the Russian peasants were, and less easy to control.

Now we are told that our standard of living is increasing because we can buy poorly-made products at a greatly reduced price.

This sleight of hand lets the federal government pretend that there is no inflation, and therefore claim our standard of living is rising. Of course, they don't count energy prices, or housing prices. By counting wages, which are deflating because of competition with slave and very low wage labor, and the poorly made junk that is making the communists wealthy beyond belief, they skew the truth.

Since you are aware that the soviet goals and plans have been reincarnated in the UN, you must also be aware that those same goals have found root in the US. The education system, which was once meant to create individuals who could make well reasoned decisions and therefore become self governing, is now modeled after the collectivist soviet system. We have too many citizens, as seen on this post, who have no concept of individual rights and our responsibilities to maintain a constitutional government and therefore our freedom.

The influence of the UN in the US is much greater than most people allow. UNCTAD, ECLAC, WTO, World Bank, IMF,nearly all the instruments of globalization (except the US government) are subsidiary branches of the UN. While not directly under the influence, the US government has been corrupted by these groups, This consortium of anti American, anti individualist interests has a great deal of influence on the US and our policies, even our domestic policies. These organizations are demonstrably dangerous to the 'old America'.

They are not coming at us with weapons, but with philosophies that are subverting the citizens. Guns cannot protect us in this war, because it is a war of ideas.

Yes, we've reached the stage where I'm almost as distrustful of some of our business institutions as the government. Some years ago I drew the line at electronic bill-paying. I know once a company can automatically withdraw cash from my bank account I'm essentially screwed. It can raise prices almost at will and if I have a complaint or a problem -- forget it! There's no way of reaching anyone who can do anything about except to sit through hours of "Press 1 if you wish to speak in Urdu," too-loud bad music and endless harangues about new added-cost 'services' while on hold. The object is to extract more money or get rid of you.

I realize I'm a Neanderthal but I prefer to pay bills by check. Now I've learned my bank can't even track all checks that have cleared because some businesses do it electronically -- no paper. Maybe that's a worthy goal and perfectly understandable to younger folks. But to me it's a paradigm-shift, and an important, scary one. Control of my personal finances has been taken out of my hands. It's now just a tiny step to a cashless society where salaries are electronically credited to an account, then electronically withdrawn by anyone from the IRS to the grocery store. Anyone who realizes the impact of payroll withholding by the IRS and FDIC can see where this is heading. O Brave New World! Guess it's time to take my Soma.

We used to increase our standard of living by increasing wages, inventing new and better technology, and improving products and customer service. Those are the hallmarks of a strong nation with a robust economy.

Now we are told that our standard of living is increasing because we can buy poorly-made products at a greatly reduced price.

The psychological implications of this attitude are enough to doom us.

Exactly. BTw, I'm watching the CBS Superbowl Commercial Countdown on a 1966 Sony B&W TV as I type this on the computer I am on, a 1992 486SX/25 (running Windows 3.1 with 4 megs of RAM and 120 meg HD) since I'm in the room feeding my cats. B-) I am feeling a bit retro. B-)

Getting to that, there are some of our detractors who would say that we have it better now with the computers like the Pentium 4, internet and so on and they are true although they are not taking into account that different eras had different standards.

One guy on a thread brought up that in the late 1970's, one of the best computers then was a TRS-80 model I and we had no internet then but had dial-up BBS'es (computer bulletin boards) and the like back then. Yes, by today's standards they are quaint and backward but by 1970's standards, they were state of the art. If you took a Pentium IV back in time to 1979, it would be as seen as a minature Cray supercomputer of that time. It's like how the liberals judged many of the Founding Fathers to be bad because they had slaves but they are using 20th and 21st Century standards to judge 18th and 19th Century people.

I guess you like the Garand rifle. If I could only have one rifle, the Garand would be it although it would closely be followed by an M-14 (son of Garand) or the FN-FAL.

Yup, not many people seem to get my name. I'm a big WWII buff; lots of guys depended on that reliable rifle.

I collect WWII posters; I'm always excited when I can find one (for a reasonable price...rarely) which features the Garand.
