Serious question. This Sadam AF general says wmds were sent to Syria before the war. Why isn't this the biggest story of the year? Where is the press coverage? It's not just the msm - Fox doesn't mention it. Why doesn't the WH play this up?
Here's the problem I have with the story.
There is no shortage of people who will take advantage of events to make a buck. If reading the details in this book is the first time our military or intelligence agency heard of it, then it's probably fake. Selling snake oil to Americans is nothing new.
But, if the book states that he disclosed this information to US authorities a couple of years ago and he's just now publishing it, that would add some credibility.
Frankly, it would have lots more credibility if he had revealed this on television where he was an unpaid guest.
I can't answer for the WH of course, but two possible explanations might be plausible..1. They are keeping their cards close to their vest until getting within 60 days of the 2006 elections 2. They are playing the PC game also....

A couple of possible reasons come to mind.
One, Syria can deny getting any WMD materials and short of invasion or the defection of a high level Syrian with proof, there is no way to decisively prove what the Syrians received.
Second, the next big thing is likely to be in Iran and the administration would not want to be embroiled in Syria while the Iran issue heats up.
