Why doesn't the WH play this up

I can't answer for the WH of course, but two possible explanations might be plausible..1. They are keeping their cards close to their vest until getting within 60 days of the 2006 elections 2. They are playing the PC game also....

I think they are keeping their cards close to their vest. How else would Jordan have been able to apprehend the suicide attackers. The following tells me they were forewarned and that someone is closely watching the activities in the WMD storage areas in Syria. Here is what gives me reason to suspect what is happening:

"Jordanian sources said authorities suspected that four vehicles packed with explosives have entered the Hashemite kingdom from either Iraq or Syria."
