Filthy mouth NAACP Julian Bond chairman compares GOP to Nazis
World Net Daily ^ | February 2, 2006 | World Net Daily

Civil rights activist and NAACP Chairman Julian Bond delivered a blistering partisan speech at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina last night, equating the Republican Party with the Nazi Party and characterizing Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her predecessor, Colin Powell, as "tokens."

"The Republican Party would have the American flag and the swastika flying side by side," he charged.

The talk so infuriated at least one black family in attendance that they got up in walked out in protest.

Liberals have been comparing Republicans to the Nationalist Socialist Party of Germany for years, since about 1945 at least, and maybe covertly, even longer than that. The isolationist impulses of the Republican minority in 1940 seemed to place them in the pro-German camp at the time, but when war did come, the Republicans were far more supportative of the Presidential initiatives for taking the nation to war, than the Dem'crat counterparts in the media, both houses of Congress, and various assorted other elective and notorious positions throughout the nation of today. They cannot seem to get their heads around the notion that Islamofascists are NOT friends of America.

a Nazi SS officer body with uniform and with her GOP candidate's head superimposed on it
The GOP candidate is a retired, 25 year Marine Corp veteran.

You're right. Thanks. I forgot to mention that important fact. It makes what was done all the more despicable.

ATTN JULIAN BOND: June 6, 2001 --- KKK Byrd Is 3 Heartbeats from the Presidency
USA TODAY STORY archives | 12-16-02 | dfu

Posted on 12/16/2002 11:20:48 PM PST by doug from upland

FROM USA TODAY -- 6/6/01

By voice vote, the Senate then elected Sen. Robert Byrd, D-W.Va., the senior Senate Democrat, as president pro tempore, replacing Sen. Strom Thurmond, R-S.C. That is a constitutional and mostly ceremonial post that is also third in line of succession to the presidency.

Note to Julian Bond: On this day, Mr. Bond, a former member of the KKK became the President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate. Ahead of him in our country's leadership were President George W. Bush, Vice-President Richard Cheney, and Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert.

Bond was being interviewed by Wolfie Blitzer and made a fool of himself. He defended racist and outrageous statments by Jesse Jackson, saying there was no comparison to Trent Lott. NAACP Chairman Bond, who teaches American History at the University of Virginia, claimed that what Lott said was far more egregious than Jackson because Lott was only 3 heartbeats from the presidency.

Apparently this college history professor should not be in the history department of the University of Virginia. In 8th grade, we learn about the line of succession. Trent Lott, incoming majority leader, is not in the line of succession. KKK Byrd, however, as pointed out to Bond by Arlen Specter, is in the line of succession.

Julian Bond, are you a liar or are you just stupid? Why didn't it bother you that for a year and a half a former KKK member was 3 heartbeats from the presidency?

What a fool.

DFU SONG: That's Life (racist flamethrower Julian Bond sings "You're White")
DFU SONGS | 7-2005 | Lyrics, Doug from Upland

Posted on 07/12/2005 3:57:41 PM PDT by doug from upland

MIDI - THAT'S LIFE

You're white, me and all my people will say
You were a racist in April
Still are in May
And I know I'll never change my tune
Reparations, yes...reparations in June

I said you're white...you're to blame for everything
And oh so much misery....to my race you bring
But forever you ain't gonna keep us down
Make us angry and...we'll burn your town

I've been a puppet, a parrot, a poverty pimp, and a...professor, too
If you don't give us the things that we want, we will boycott you
I've learned from Jesse well...how shakedowns work
You're dealing with top notch pros, you cracker jerk

You're white...that's something you can't deny
You got to give us much more until you are bled dry
Because, so far pal, it ain't been, ain't been enough
You can like it or not...but, we want your stuff

I've been a puppet, a parrot, a poverty pimp, and a...professor, too
If you don't give us the things that we want, we will boycott you
I've learned from Jesse well...just how big shakedowns work
You are dealing with top notch pros, you cracker jerk

You're white...no man, you cannot deny it
All your lame, your lame excuses...we will not buy it
If we don't get the things we want by July
We will go out in the streets...Mr. Honky...you'll die
Oh my

Bush has declines to address the NAA(L)CP's annual convention for the past 5 years. He treats them as if they don't exist, which is what they deserve.

Where does he go after this rhetoric? The Republican Party could actually do what he accuses them of doing, and he couldn't ratchet up his rhetoric any higher.

Wait till we have new Republican black governors in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. We're going to have quite a few tokens! Pretty soon he'll have to read such a long list of "tokens" it'll be simply laughable! That's why I say the best way to defeat these bigots is by continuing to win and changing hearts and minds through action.

When will the IRS remove the NAACP's tax exempt status. They have clearly become a wing of the Democratic Party.

Funny thing is...if Julian Bond were Michael S. Steele with the Dems in power, they would have him arrested and on trial for aiding and abetting the enemy.

I hope President Bush doesn't let this stand.

That kind of talk is very dangerous on many levels.

This kind of rhetoric has a similar problem to the use of expletives, the more one uses, the stronger the terms that must be used to make an impact, in a rough analogy to the "law of diminishing returns".

As a child I can remember when using the term "H E double hockey sticks" was reserved for the most stressful times like breaking a bone. At all other times it was a mark of degeneracy and uncivil in the extreme. Today you could play a Lenny Bruce tape in some churches.

The same has happened to political discourse. Lincoln was compared to a baboon and the terms of scalawag and capitalist/fascist toady was fighting words. Now the left has so debased their lexicon that all they have left in their verbal armory are the Nazis. Even when the liberals realize (seldom) how disproportionate the charge is, they cannot resist since everything else is so shopworn.

Interestingly, on the right, it appears to me to be much less inclination to use the comperable ultimate of Communist. Perhaps it is because they are mostly a dying breed or perhaps because the terms looney, wacko, idiotic and other such "loose-cannon" adjectives seem so much more appropriate.

I can remember when my favorite author, R.A.Heinlein, made much of an educated man being able to insult without using any swear words. It left such an impression on me, that even after leaving childhood and parental restrictions, I am ashamed when I do occasionally use the "H" word. I simply despise those who need to use these "atomic bomb" terms like the "N" WORDS and the "F" terms.

Yeah...I watched the NBC evening news....no mention of the Julian Bond statement....
maybe there was a technical glitch....

On a slightly different note, NBC did air a segment on the Muslim outrage against certain European news publications printing cartoons of Mohammed....

However, Brian Williams prefaced the segment by saying NBC would NOT show the cartoons in question!

Figures....what a bunch of cow dung....
