I can hear the moonbats gnashing of teeth all over Portland. I predict a big run on antidepressants in the next few weeks and maybe some of them will move(Canada is no longer a safe haven) or take advantage of Oregons law.

Canada is not a safe haven, and Castro can't live much longer. Maybe they can go to Venezuela or North Korea.

Not exactly what one would call a non-partisan attitude.

This is priceless. One of the best skewerings of Monsieur Kerry I have ever read.

Is no one in charge of the dems? Some cooler head who can tell them when they're behaving like idiots? Someone who, at least, can count? Guess not.

Having lost the Alito vote, the filibuster crowd lost credibility and influence in future nomination battles. In fact, Kerry forced many who thought a futile filibuster unwise to go along. How many Democrats voted in favor of Alito? How many of the Democrats who voted in favor of Alito were not from redstates - and how many of the Democrats who voted in favor of Alito will not have to stand for reelection this November?
Any?

Is no one in charge of the dems? I suppose that would be Dean.

Strike one.
who can tell them when they're behaving like idiots?

Someone who, at least, can count?

Maybe this is what GWB has been planning for all along - conservatives to the north - get all the libs to move to Mexico, THEN close the border! All the free-loaders behind 1 border.

Lurch wanted to be commander in chief of the United States. Failing to achieve that position in life , he has decided to settle for, to go down in history forever, to be known as,....... Commander in Chief of DUmmy land!...Good luck with your new position Lurch!I'm sure you'll like it!

And he wants to be President. How can a guy claim the ability to lead the world's greatest nation if he can lead a few of most liberally rabid of his own party?

The filibuster crowd lost credibility when they put John Fizzlebluster Kerry at the helm. They'd still have failed if they'd chosen a superior leader, but Kerry's personal shortcomings depressed the vote (against cloture). He couldn't get anyone behind him, who wasn't already there anyway (due to reelection concerns).

...who among us doesn't want to launch a futile filibuster of an indisputably qualified nominee to placate the left-wing blogocracy and anti-Alito hysterics on The New York Times' editorial board? Who indeed? Phoning it in from the Swiss ski slopes was the sort of political gift that keeps on giving. You just can't make that stuff up.
