Boehner voted against the Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act. See http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2005/roll661.xmlIt isn't as cut & dry as that it seems. His office put out a press release on that. Boehner camp fights back on immigration. Turns out he had a problem with one small section, and wasn't able to express his concerns about it.
Plus: He voted in favor of many/most of the Amendments to the same bill:
Boehner's Scoresheet.

Never mind all that now; never mind the facts; they've got it in their "bit" and they're going to run with it.
Facts do NOT apply.

Turns out he had a problem with one small section, and wasn't able to express his concerns about it. Well we'll have to see now what he does if the Senate comes back with a guest worker program, it's something he supports. I would have rather seen Blunt since he goes for enforcement first.
