If he is a conservative, the msm can and will lay a glove on him and bare knuckles, too. Then when he's down, they'll use their feet to kick his teeth out.

2004 Representative Boehner supported the interests of the National Rifle Association 92 percent during their legislative career up until 2004.

Representative Chris Shays, a Connecticut Republican, said he believes that Boehner is even closer to lobbyists than Blunt. ``The problem John faces is that he's so close to K Street; that's the challenge he's got,'' said Shays, who's backing Blunt. That clinches it for me. I lived in CT and if Shays backed Blunt, I'll back the other guy. Every time.
And memo to Chris Shays: You ALL have a problem with lobbyists and trying to pretend you're squeaky clean doesn't fool anyone.

HA! The man is too close to K street - as he showed with his tobacco checks...

Shadegg was the most conservative of the 3, but McCain supported him cause they're both from AZ, rather than philosophical kinship

That said, I dont think Roy ran a very good campaign. Blunt had ties with DeLay and Abramoff. The last thing the Republicans need is to prolong this scandal by elevating another implicated politician to such a high position of authority that the media can kick around and continue the "era of corruption" cabal.

I'm so glad you're not here right now to witness how the food just fell out of my mouth when I read your post. Not very ladylike nor are the guffaws I'm uttering right now.

That's what I thought. I don't put any stock in who McCain endorses, either way.
