Apalled. Simply apalled.
With the number of Jews involved in the Hollywood entertainment industry (think Steven Speilberg et al), why do they passively or actively promote "art" that celebrates such murder by seeking to justify it?
Yet Hollywood refuses to produce a movie about 9-11...
It is a sure winner then.
Munich was a really good film. I could see it getting best film or Crash. Brokeback Mountain- while a good film- isn't best picture material in my book. Maybe best actor.
Leftism *IS* terrorism. Ergo, the reward to the filmmakers.
They are in the process of offending about 75% of America now with this year's "choices". It doesn't make sense to not nominate a single movie without a lefty agenda of some sort. Do they really think we'll all watch anyway just to see the gowns or whatever??
I wish I could, but I can't, since I never watch it anyway 8-)
I noticed the Palestine entry, but I didn't know what it was about, so I was thinking that it might go to South Africa (except, of course, that foreign film isn't usually politically -- it's usually Italian.)

I cannot imagine how any documentary could be better than "March of the Penguins," period. It would be travesty if it did not win Best Documentary.
