How did ABC, NBC, and CBS do?

That's a good question. The only stats I've seen so far are for cable news.

I prefer CSPAN. They tend to obscure less of the picture with foolish graphics.

Don't know but now we do know why Fox calls themselves the number 1 cable news net.

For events such as the SOTU I do prefer C-Span as well for the same reason.

Also on CSPAN the sound is cleaner, less background noise, and they don't cut away from their coverage for complete BS.

Plus on C-Span you get can count on the opportunity to watch all the front row VIPs walk into the chamber: Joint Chiefs, Supreme Court justices, cabinet members, etc. For me it's always interesting to see the high ranking officials in our goverment that you don't always see in the media on a daily basis.

All the net works really pi** me off with the exception of
C-Span.Most interviews with pun-dents are interrupted in the middle of a conversation to do their adds. I know they need to make the money to stay in the trade but, they need to change the format. They could do the add at the end of the comments, that way I would not have to change the channel so much.

"American Idol" boasted 32 million viewers. What a sad commentary on our society!

Unfortunately, you will never go broke underestimating the taste of the American public.

Those were some pretty tough viewers, the ones who could stomach watching the Rat Response.
