That's a good question. The only stats I've seen so far are for cable news.

Don't know but now we do know why Fox calls themselves the number 1 cable news net.

The big lead-in (American Idol) helped FOX stay in first place at 9 p.m., as its coverage of the State of the Union averaged 6.1/9. CBS was second at 5.2/8, with ABC edging NBC for third (viewers out West saw local programming).
