You drew it.
Whoa. Your #154 is gonna leave a mark.
Mirror mirror on this thread, says it's time for children like you to go to bed.
Thanks EternalVigilance.
Agreed - The only reason I voted for Bush (twice) was that the Socialist Demoncrats can not be allowed to be in control of our national security / foreign policy, and for conservative court appointments. Bush is no Reagan; he is weak, is not an effective leader, and is a moderate too concerned with PC both in our war on terror and domestically. Additionally to other Woodrow Wilson-like statements and those you mentioned, I was outraged in his moderate leftist-like defense of illegal aliens (not mentioning it, nor much time spent on our dissasterous border security) in his calculated use of the word 'immigrant' to define all who are invading this country across our borders, and his defense of his amnesty / guest worker idea. I was not happy with his continued push for trade at all costs (he didn't mention Red China in his list of undemmocratic countries that need to be freed, by the way)am trouble by all unpatriotic big businesses and oil companies that put their profits in selling out to enemies like Red China, or price gouging Americans, or trashing the middle class in lieu of illegal workers, and the politicians that are beholden to them, like our President and many others in both parties.
As a Conservative, I in fact did like some of the things he said on the cultural front and on subjects related to the war on terror. On the whole, though, very dissapointing to this right-wing former Army Vet.
He pretty much stated what I've always said around here.
You'd know that if you ever listened to anything but your own voice.
Most welcome.
Yours is one of the most sensible voices on FR.
Or marks, all over my head. LOL
LOL!
He has NEVER had any power to do anything but miserably mess up his own runs at elected office. No matter WHAT he says, he has never been able to do anything at all, so his speeches are not proof of how he would govern, if he were able to get elected.
Everytime Colmes opens his mouth, I want to throw a brick at the TV. See him tonight with the son of the Shaw of Iran? IT'S ALL AMERICA'S FAULT! The son (can't remember his name) reminded little Alan that that was 50 years ago and things are just a little different now. Alan Colmes is the worst kind of liberal. He belongs on CNN....or in Cuba, not that there's a whole lot of difference.
LOL...nah, they're harmless keyboard warriors.
No, I said "Fine," as in "Fine, you've posted an 11 year old speech, now post the one he made last fall about reparations."
I'm too popped to jump in,,much. Darn!
On behalf of fellow Masada Wingers in the Ca GOP , we feeel the pain of the "extremists",, urrr, disappointed conservatives on a national level.
History will judge soon enough who was right and who was far-right, or far from right. ;-)
I didn't realize that you could use the computer at a daycare center.
I'm tired of hearing 'conservatives' complain about what Bush says in speeches. Every time they think Bush is about to sell out his conservative principles, Bush takes action that only proves he is a conservative.
Harriet Miers was Laura's pick for the Supreme Court and was a mistake, but Bush listened to conservatives and 'encouraged' her to withdraw. He does listen.
:-)
Then don't vote for him again.
Just one.

Agreed.
