They seem to usually show alot of perspective on things.
They're more libertarian than anything, they are definitely not 'religious', but they thrive on BS hypocrisy like the Paris Hilton stuff, or anything PC, etc.
They'd be anti-gov't, anti-media, anti-PC, all of which are liberal staples.
To give you an idea what I mean, their basic Iraq episode boiled down to "I love America, we are doing what needs to be done in Iraq, but enough of us argue about it so we can do it AND get excused from it at the same time... and THAT is what America is all about"
So not 'our side' but generally honest with the humor. Its the Liberals phoniness that make them such an easy and favorite target for SP.

I get the feeling they might be a little closer to our view than the other side. They rip on stupid people, whoever they may be. There are plenty of them on "our side" and they definitly don't spare them. It's just, right now, there are a lot more stupid people (really obvious stupid people) on "the other side."
They have said, effectively, that it's both easier and more fun to rip on liberals right now. Therefore that's what they're doing.

Their interview on charlie rose was actually pretty good, because they explained how they act at hollywood parties.
Trey said he told one woman "I like GWB and I love my gun" and he could just see her head starting to explode.

I get the feeling they might be a little closer to our view than the other side. OMKAY??? Oh, they certainly are. It's one of the reasons I dig "South Park." They really rag on the liberals.
What's funny is that a lot of liberals like the show and don't see that Parker and Stone's ideaology is making fun of them most of the time.
