Iran's President Calls U.S. 'Hollow Superpower'

Iran's president lashed out Wednesday at the United States and vowed to resist the pressure of "bully countries" as European nations circulated a draft resolution urging that Tehran be brought before the U.N. Security Council for its nuclear activities.

In a speech to thousands of supporters hours after President Bush's State of the Union address, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad derided the United States as a "hollow superpower" that is "tainted with the blood of nations" and said Tehran would continue its nuclear program.

"Nuclear energy is our right, and we will resist until this right is fully realized," Ahmadinejad told the crowd in the southern Iran city of Bushehr, the site of Iran's only nuclear power plant.

"Our nation can't give in to the coercion of some bully countries who imagine they are the whole world and see themselves equal to the entire globe," he added.

If this guy is so gutsy why doesn't he just once come out and say "nuclear weapons" instead of "nuclear energy"?

Then we'll see how "hollow" the US is.

At first I thought I was reading the words of Michael Moore then saw the "Iran President" part. Liberals and psycho Islamics, birds of a feather.

Re your pix "b1b.jpg"

Was up at Abilene, Texas a couple of weeks ago.
Could have swore that I saw dozens and dozens of planes just like this one.
Betcha they could really tear up a country if ordered.
Money talks, bullshit walks.

You know Adolf Hitler said something pretty much like that in 1941.

That would be honesty. Something he doesn't need.

This Amedinjad is just another Allah intoxicated moron. Unfortunately he's on the brink of acquiring nuclear weapons. If Allah belief made one a genius I would sign up tomorrow. But the reality is it makes you stupid

"Keep going, clown, and you'll find out how hollow a deluge of missiles is!"

2 Trident D-5 MIRV'd missiles from one Ohio class submarine is enough to devastate most of Iran's infrastructure and kill a few million people. 6 missiles can virtually wipe them out of existence. That is really hollow isn't it?

"Iran's president lashed out Wednesday at the United States and vowed to resist the pressure of "bully countries""

Sure and as soon as we make a move in his direction, he'll scramble down a spider hole. He's an idiot and a coward...

What amazes me is that even after all his comments over the last 2 months, people still believe that the Iranians are only looking for nuclear energy as a fuel source.

He doesn't believe we would use them. Or that Allah will protect them if we do.
Back when Kitchener conquered the Sudan from the followers of the Mahdi, said followers believed that if their faith was strong enough, the British bullets couldn't kill them. Only the weak of faith would fall to them.
Amazing how many in the Mahdi's army didn't have enough faith. The battlefields were littered with their corpses.
you have to be a nut to want to play that game with a MIRV. But then we're talking about King Nutberger.
