True, but if a GOP presidential candidate picks someone who is very liberal, it will reflect on that presidential candidate.

As I said, in a close election, it could be the deciding factor.

When I was a committeeperson for the New York State Right-to-Life Party, they would definitely not back a presidential candidate who picked a pro-abort.

I agree, many will vote their conscience. But many will not. The nature of the electorate.

I'm not sure I would support Rudy Giuliano for President, but I like the man. VP wouldn't bother me.
