What I don't understand is....why would the National Press Club allow this group to use it for their joke of a commission?

I know we are talking "PRESS" here...and the media is very liberal, but my goodness this is practically bordering on insurrection...

No kidding. I listened to a lot of the recordings and we have some of them on the blog.
This isn't really news. It's a left wing witch hunt and should have never been allowed time at the Press Club.

Good question on Sheehan and the like. It could be a matter of difference in Communist style. NION is a Maoist group and Global Exchange is a Castro group.

I think that funds be witheld by any coservative who pays dues to the Press Club.

Sounds like a good idea about the dues..

I just don't know how the Press Club works..what its mission is...how they pick their guests or anything...

All I know is C-span shows them...and gives whoever speaks FREE PUBLICITY...which makes me mad.

I agree, many will vote their conscience. But many will not. The nature of the electorate.

I'm not sure I would support Rudy Giuliano for President, but I like the man. VP wouldn't bother me.

Again, we agree. Mr. Bush is conservative on foreign affairs, on judicial appointments and on taxes; but, awfully liberal otherwise.

In American politics pragmatism is the rule for higher office, it seems.

Well, there is still time, and we can help the candidate we like by calling talk shows, and contacting the Republican Party.

Rush Limbaugh, btw, has mentioned Mike Pence on his show, and also interviewed him for the Limbaugh Letter.

On the positive side, President Bush's ratings went up when he fought for his causes, acted more conservative, and energized the base. Maybe there is a lesson for the GOP to be learned here. :)
