State Representative Marie St. Fleur today pulled out as a candidate for lieutenant governor after the Boston Globe reported that she has delinquent tax debts in three of the last four years and owes $40,000 in student loans, a senior Democrat said today.

A caller to Howie Carr today said she contacted Kennedy's office to express her condemnation of Kennedy's antics regarding Judge Alito and how he (Kennedy) has embarrassed Massachusetts. The person in Kennedy's office told her "Why don't you move to another state!" before hanging up the phone. So much for diversity of opinion.
Howie Carr is having a blast with this. She's the ULTIMATE democrat token pick--a black female immigrant who didn't pay her taxes...and her husband is an accountant!

She pushed a bill, recently defeated, to have the kids of illegal immigrants pay the same tuition as legal Massachusetts residents at community colleges. In other words, less than real Americans from other states.
Democrats hate tax cuts because that cuts the money they have to spread around and win votes, but when THEY don't pay taxes that should be going to The Pooooor, it's a political attack, or racism, or something.
Petty details. Another democratic candidate for something or other a few years back was outed in the matter of having stiffed the feds vis a vis student loans. She said she wasn't sorry and she'd do it again. So there. Uh, she lost.

She said she didn't have to pay them back because she was "a public servant". I think it was Alice Wolf from the PRC. She wanted non-citizens to VOTE!
