OK, fine. If Islam is the real enemy here, would you suggest that a U.S. President who publicly utters a phrase such as "Islam is a religion of peace" in the aftermath of an Islamic terrorist attack on the U.S. should be thrown out of office immediately for rank incompetence, basic stupidity, or a combination of both?

I give you the UN- where the heads of nations that HATE each other speak oh-so-politely to each other. Do lunch. Just generally say one thing and do another.

I hope the President KNOWS better. If he really believes that ROT about Islam then I would say he is a gullible fool re. Islam. That would be a serious flaw- but I'd support him as President otherwise.
