If you don't want the government poking into your business, don't use taxpayer funds. Simple.

Its funny that politicians dont mind the rich like Ted Kennedy using loopholes to keep what they have but shame on a middle class person getting to use one.

They should have bought long term care insurance... This used to be called children, but that was before every generation decided to steal from every other generation. Baby Boomers have the highest standard of living in the history of the world and they still want to steal from their children and grandchildren instead of leaving an inheritance.

No, you are, and not closet, either.
You want to use my money so you can give to your church. I'd rather have the money so I can give it to mine.

Great Point.
I should disclose that I am a Long Term Care Insurance Specialist. If anyone has questions regarding LTC insurance, I'm more than willing to get you the answers.

Many of my clients dislike the idea of being dependant on the state or on their own children for their care.
Also
"This used to be called children, but that was before every generation..."
Previous generations had larger families and most everyone lived close by.
Today's boomers usually have 2-3 kids and it's not uncommon for them to be more spread out.

So much for the freedom to go on the dole so everyone else has to pay for your old age care. Do you have any idea what it costs monthly to treat the only Federally Protected Disease? Check it out and then complain.

Your response is ignorant and indicates you are missing the reality of the situation. We'll have to accept that we're going to disagree on this.

Do you want people to be allowed to give all their money to PETA, the ACLU, and other "charitable" organizations, take a deduction on their taxes for it, then force the rest of us to subsidize their old age care because they have no more money?

Thank you. Skimming isn't fool proof.
I am against the government providing these health care benefits, anyway.
It never said, the government giveth and the government taketh away, blessed be....

Your response makes little sense to the conversation...Are you implying that only the faithless end up needing LTC services?
Explain yourself.
