I have several contacts in the military and recieved this via email.
Tomorrow there is supposed to be a letter in the paper from several pissed people from our military. Make sure you check it out.

Thanks for the info. I will spend a great deal of time tomorrow using copy/paste in my email. If someone made a cartoon similar to this but using Bob Woodruff, the media liberal media would demand a congressional investigation! I will definitely contact the Post and let them know that this was in poor taste. I think that we should call for a Congressional Investigation for treason. One definition of which is "2: disloyalty by virtue of subversive behavior" If the shoe fits...
I saw the cartoon. It is disgusting, hope you cancel your subscription and encourage others to do so.
I saw the cartoon on another FR thread. Then I sent a letter to the editor of the Post and let them know what I think of that rag.
And subscribers have a right to refuse to read that rag.
Muslims threaten death when they are offended, Americans boycott...
Exactly.
Where has anyone denied their "right" to draw this or print it?
Sure they have a "right" to draw it.
Sure the have a "right" to print it.
And we have the right to do every thing we can to bring them to financial ruin.
I only regret that I have but one subscription to cancel for my country.
This reminds me of the boycott of France all over again.
Or public disgust at the Dixie Chicks. As if only their rights matter. They love to spray their pathetic "free speech" all over us, but whine like rats in a trap if anyone dare exercise their own right to free speech in opposition to them.
In addition to letters to the editor, we need to hit them WHERE IT HURTS.
Boycott all their advertisers. Write the advertisers a letter expaining why they are being boycotted, and forward it to the Post.
Believe me, that'll have even more impact.
Choosing not to buy a product that you don't like is hardly going "apeshit". It's called capitalism. As a capitalist, I see no problem with politely chastising the offending newspaper and discontinuing the purchase of it.

Just called to talk to Lisa Bolton, Public Relations Manager. Spoke to a very sweet lady named Auora, of course her response was "I am so sorry this offended you" my response was "offended me? This is offensive to any human. Will the next sketch be of a down syndrome child or a murdered mother and child. At what point do you draw the line."
I can not believe the insensitivity of this. When she ask if I would like for someone to call me back I said please do. She told me Eric Grant would be the one I would be speaking with. She did mention the phones had been ringing off the wall. I can not believe how disgusting this is.
I got the same person...same message. Gonna go to the advertisers now.
I would think the JC wrote the letter to keep clamp the lid on current and former military and supporters from responding by taking out an ad with a drawing their own picture of the cartoonist.
Good job and thank you!
Thank you.
The very least that should be expected is a MASSIVE contribution to an association that aids wounded military men and women and their families. Otherwise, I think they should be deliberately driven into bankruptcy.
Sure it does, and we also have a right to cancel our subscriptions. I don't know what constitution you've been reading, but mine doesn't say a word about forcing Americans to read your free speech.
