Your new information changes my opinion.
Even if she was only a danger to herself, she should not have been left alone.

So would you want a confessed, although obviously nutty, murderer to be freed on bail living next door to you? The judge is the one who is insane here.

If you read the article, you will see that the judge granted bail only on condition that she be kept in a mental hospital. She is not "living next door" to you.

If you will read the post in number 98 you will see that if she gets her new deal of not guilty by reason of insanity then she very well could be released. It's happened before with tragic results.

So if the mental hospital is so "secure" why does she need to post bond?

Judge Napalitano just answered the question. She will NOT be confined in said mental institution "against her will". So she is free to walk out at any time..

It is odd how these mothers kill their children, but never themselves.

Why can't they charge her with the murder of the other two and get another judge to deny bail on those new charges?

Amazing that Yates gets any sympathy here...and they hold her husband equally responsible...lol

did he order her at knife point to drown the kids?

soft bigotry of low expectations:

"cracked women are not AS repsonsible"

thanks for the sanity....I also doubt seriously most women feel sorry for her ...just the loud ones in the MSM and some kool aid drinkers here.

They should take the child unless the state kills it first.

That's a consequence of the reversal of her conviction. The order granting her "bail" doesn't increase or decrease the odds of that.

Because it is civil, and not criminal, custody.

I don't anyone here thinks her husband is "equally responsible," but he was certainly complicit, if not criminally negligent in the deaths by leaving his children in the care of someone who was so clearly a danger to herself and others.

It's like giving a toddler a loaded gun.

Well, she looks terrible, saw pic today...Her ex husband would have to be in hard times to be interested. but then again, he knew she was wacko from the get go. It scares me that he works for NASA, he had to know she was wacky. I really think she is insane, any sane person would have to kill themselves from the guilt of what they have done. The pain of knowing that you killed five children would drive a sane person to jump off a bridge. At any rate, she should never be released from jail. I am simply flabberghasted that this witness felt compelled to make up the story about the tv show. Does any of this make sense?
