Andrea Yates granted bail by judge. Bail set at 200K. Husband is seeking the 20K for bondsman.

I'm hardly forgiving of her crimes, but she is clearly a nutjob on many levels --- medically crazy long before this and also had a weird preacher all but controlling the family (the guy dressed up like the devil as part of his act; nutty and probably crooked).
Note, I am NOT condoning or forgiving her actions or saying she needs to be free - ever.
Just stating there is at least a grain of truth in the defense.

I will not defend her. The conviction was overturned, based on false testimony. Bail is allowed. Even for the trash that perjured themselves at the first trial. That is why they did not charge her on everything at the first trial. Because of stuff like this.

Wasn't this predicable?
Now she's "sane" again through "rehabilitation" and she is set free. This is nonsense and so is this post partum depression. It's sheer bull. Andea wasn't punished. She got away with PREMEDITATED murder. That's what all these excuses and sympathy for evil gained society. Justice is a joke. She should have gotten capital punishment.
