Best line of the night:

"There is a difference between responsible criticism that aims for success and defeatism that refuses to ackowledge anything but failure.Hindsight alone is not wisdom. And second-guessing is not a strategy."

This article applies it to media coverage. It applies equally to almost all dems as well.

Pray for W and Our Troops.

Old Media ping.

I am bookmarking this great quotation. Never were truer words spoken. So to the point.

Never falter! Don't hesitate to honor and support those of us

What is so revealing about that statement is that Dems know in their heart that it's true.

Thanks,brother.

Marine Staff Sergeant Dan Clay's words are the words of the warrior.Truthfully eloquent, clearheaded and noble.

"I know what honor is...It has been an honor to protect and serve all of you.I faced death with the secure knowledge that you would not have too...Never falter! Don't hesitate to support and honor those of us who have the honor of protecting that which is worth protecting"

Amen. I noticed that the single longest standing-o was for Dan's widow Lisa and his parents, sitting behind the First Lady. Even the obstructioninst America-hating Democrats stood and applauded, although I'm sure some of them only did out of appearance's sake. God bless our heroes.

I watched the SOTU address without any interference from the traitorous dinosaur media. Sugoi! I alternated between applauding the President and jeering those sour-faced defeatists on the wrong side of the aisle.

I feel great today!

I thought the early part of the speech and the conclusion was an in-your-face defense of his policies and a call to the Dims to quit their anti-Americanism and actually start supporting the troops. I loved it, but I'm not surprised the Dim media didn't like it.

Yes, I certainly did!

His intended target was not the media!

Only the media would be so arrogant as to assume he gives a hoot what they think.:^)

I know we've seen these words before here on FR. But Marine Staff Sgt. Dan Clay brings them to mind again. In fact, he and other hero's like him are the epitomy of them. God Bless him and his family. I repeat these words for him and his family at this time:

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

" ~~ John Stuart Mill ~~

" Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

"John Chapter 15 vs. 13; "
