Bioethicists should build a shrine to their patron saint, Dr. Josef Mengele, who was known as the Angel of Death. The likes of Professor Peter Singer and Drs. Jack Kevorkian and Ronald "Humane Death" Cranford follow doggedly in Mengele's footsteps. They will have not have an easy time catching up with their master -- witness:
Warning: horrible graphic scenes of Auschwitz.

We sailed past Auschwitz a few years back in the bone chilling dead of winter, on a bus bound for homes of relatives. Eerie. I still have the gold ring given me by one of the survivors, who became a Catholic priest afterwards. Many in the surrounding village of our relatives took their one way ticket to Auschwitz.
The death cult heritage carries on, more veiled, but of similar core, and closer than we might like to think.

Bf and I spent a lot of time on that site. My father did his best to quietly educate me in the lessons from that war, when I was a child. Never forget! My dad served this country in France (army), and told me a few things after I married and had a child.
Never forget....
