In the court (and courts) of life and death, a little 11-year-old Massachusetts girl named Haleigh Poutre could be the next Terri Schiavo. For those who have not heard the tragic story, Haleigh was beaten nearly to death last September, allegedly by her adoptive mother and stepfather. The beating left her unconscious and barely clinging to life.
Within a week or so of the beating, her doctors had written her off. They apparently told Haleigh's court-appointed guardian, Harry Spence, that she was "virtually brain dead." Even though he had never visited her, Spence quickly went to court seeking permission to remove her respirator and feeding tube. The court agreed, a decision affirmed recently by the supreme court of Massachusetts.
And so, no doubt with the best of intentions, a little girl who had already suffered so much was stripped by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts of even the chance to fight to stay alive. If she didn't stop breathing when the respirator was removed, which doctors expected, she would slowly dehydrate to death.

Then came the unexpected:

Thank you kindly.
Well, I think it is more than the stupidity factor O.F.F. If you notice what Dr. Death said (Cranford), this video does not line up with his statements that he made at the time of the video, unlike Dr. Hammesfahrs's statements which do.
Dr. Ron Cranford, who'll be on this show tomorrow night. I want to put up what he said:
He said, "She's vegetative. She's flat out vegetative. There's never been a shread of doubt that she's vegetative, and nothing's going to change that."
"This has been a massive propaganda campaign, which has been very successful, because it deludes the public into thinking she's really there."
And now for what Cranford said on the video. And I may add, Dr. Cranford got his way with Judge Greer and had the AUDIO part turned OFF when reviewed by the court.
bttt. Why aren't the poor excuses for republicans like Martinez instead of bashing Terri apologizing for sucking up to the ACLU instead of helping Americans in danger?

""And now for what Cranford said on the video. And I may add, Dr. Cranford got his way with Judge Greer and had the AUDIO part turned OFF when reviewed by the court.""
I didn't realize Cranford was able to have the audio turned off. So sad and unreal.
Yes, it's true, the audio portion was not heard in the courtroom. Sad, unreal, and disturbing. I think it was Felos who argued to not have the audio on, but I could be wrong in that regard. You can't really blame him, he was just trying to protect his real client, the euthanasia industry.
TALLAHASSEE - (AP) -- Nearly a year after calling for federal involvement to keep a brain-damaged woman alive against her husband's wishes, Republican U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez has said it was a mistake to become involved.

AP let this one slip. They forgot to tell the standard lie that Terri wanted to die.
If it was Michael's wish to cause Terri to die, is that not the definition of premeditated first-degree murder?
Thank you. After this, there is nothing more to say about Dr. Merciless Death.
It is just hard to keep all those lies sorted out. If the jugglers are not careful, the lies cancel out one another.
Oops, Mike and the Murderers are fingered??
I am awed by your sweet and generous nature. Not blaming Felos is like calling Hitler misunderstood and cuddly. Your words bespeak a Christian agape, lovingkindness, that puts us all to shame.
Does this mean that Martinez is running for reelection? In certain court cases, the Feds have an obligation to get involved. That is when the state court is shown to be corrupt, or incompetent. Unfortunately it is becoming more and more common across a whole spectrum of issues before courts.
"But there's no question that I'm a Republican and I want to support my party's nominee for senator,'' said Martinez, adding "politics will come later.''

I URGE AMERICANS TO CALL U.S. CONGRESSMAN DAVE WELDON, M.D. or Indiana's MIKE PENCE. They are pro-life and not weenies like Martinez and Frist.
Capital Switchboard toll free at my tag line. Over and out. FV
The Semblers are helping Crist as they always helped Greer.
Now they've made a sweet deal with the diocese for land south of Tyrone Mall.
Everybody got a sweet deal except Terri.
970 wfla radio interviewed the Sembler spokesperson this morning. Now Sembler's company is prepping for a zoning change mtg before the commission. It will be approved. Greer used to be on the zoning commission. The county commission is full of RINOS who never said a peep about Terri before or after she was murdered by the starvation state of Florida.

Sorry, I forgot to put a sarcasm tag there. I am sweet and generous sometimes, but not that time. No need to be awed.
One of the ways judges get away with breaking laws, is that when they do, lawyers rally to their side and announce that the faulty ruling is now the new law. They have decided that nothing a judge does can possibly be illegal, because simply by doing it, he causes it to become law. When legislators write laws to correct the problem, they're accused of overstepping their authority. The public is convinced that legislators are not authorized to write laws. I'm not sure what they think legislators are supposed to do, but they believe only judges are authorized to write laws. The dumbing down of America has been very effective.
I was so horrified at the time at what happened to Terri, I failed to notice until much later that many of our elected representatives either showed their true colors at the time or did so later so we were able to figure out who could be counted on in a life or death situation. Most of them who claim to be "on our side," i.e. standing for life, are only there if they think there is political hay to be made which can be used for personal advancement. Tom Delay IMO was one person who took a firm stand with us and did not falter, and look what has happened to him.
