When the partial-birth abortion ban makes it to the Supreme Court we'll know if all our work has been worth it.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but I truly think that Anthony Kennedy will show himself to be very pro-life when it becomes clear that his vote can create a majority.

"despicable agenda of the right wing,"
"unrelenting determination to undermine our rights and liberties."
"crushing blow to the protections for women's health and safety"

Do you love the rhetoric or what? If you didn't know that the "right" they were talking about was the right to kill unborn babies in their mother's wombs, you might think the "right" was something that was actually good for women and good for the country. These people are evil.

NARAL then quoted pro-abortion Sen. Barack Obama as saying: "There's one way to guarantee that the judges who are appointed to the Supreme Court are judges that reflect our values. And that's to win elections."

Something that needs to be restated for some Freepers as well. If a liberal wins election, they make policy and appoint judges. If a "true conservative" wants to let a liberal win to "teach those Republicans a lesson", he is allowing liberals to make policy and appoint judges.

The other side is still largely not as aware of reality as Obama is, but our side has it's own fringe of reality deniers as well.

"Today's vote is a crushing blow to the protections for women's health and safety that American women and families have relied on for more than 33 years."

Today's vote is a crushing blow to the special priviledges that American Leftists and baby murderers have relied on for more than 33 years.

There.. that's more accurate.

So Dems/LIEbs want everyone from 12 on up to carry a rubber on them but they Demselves don't wear them or use any other kind of protection.

Well I guess if a Dem/LIEb cant figure out how to vote using a piece of paper and a friggn pin how are they expected to know how to use a rubber or take a pill daily.

Yes with such STRESS they think it's better to just go for it and use abortion as their primary form of birth control.

the now gang will just have to live with it. They don't have to like it but they have to live with it. God bless George W. Bush and Samuel Alito. Two great men with even greater wives.

It is so shameful that the Republican party and conservative
movements have let the left rule America since 1913. I applaud
what I now read, the conservative movement in America is finally starting to make a stand and, this is very obvious with all the rankle we now see from the left. I would like to add, if it were not for conserative blog's such as FreeRepublic and others the fight would not have progressed as to date.
You that are able to use this new and wonderful tool are going to have to work harder than ever before, to save America.
I have neither the education or the skills in this fight but, I read your work every day, all day here at FreeRepublic and, you all are doing a wonderful job. Thanks

It's the same selfish crowd who'll be whining when there aren't enough young folks around to pay their Social Security. They'll be like, "We killed all our babies, but yours should pay for our beach homes."

It would be great, unfortunately that's not going to happen. Back in 1992 there were already 4 votes to overrule Roe (Rehnquist, White, Scalia and Thomas). Despite this Kennedy joined O'Connor and Souter in their plurality opinion which largely upheld Roe. He already had a chance and he screwed up.
