Well for one thing if Hamas now ever attacks Israel they attack Israel as one state against another and last I heard when States are attacked they are lawfully allowed to defend and DEFEAT those who attack it.

Who said Hamas winning the election was a loss for President Bush?

Seems like a win win for US and Israel.

Not me. I have been thinking the same thing. By electing Hamas, there is no longer any cover for the "people". Had we elected a nutcase like Dean, or a weasel like Kerry, we would have fully deserved the consequences. The same thing applies to the Palistinians. They fully deserve what is coming.

I agree completely...it absolutley is a win. The situation in the ME is now clarified. The argument was that the PA were in fact a "partner for peace". They were, of course, no such thing. Hamas, is a terrorist organization, period. No such argument can be made.

When Hamas attacks Israel, as they surely will (or IJ, or Al Aqsa with Hamas complicity), Israel can take all necessary actions to defend itself.

The situation in the Palestinian is now crystal clear.
