"...And offers NOTHING to the American people .. no plans and no ideas on how she would do anything..."

That, in a nutshell, is why IT will NEVER be president.

In a separate press release picked up by JustHillary.com, Clinton blasted Bush on his energy policy, saying: "President Bush's message tonight was loud and clear: you’re on your own."

"Everyone is on their own to deal with rising energy costs in the absence of a real plan by the President to meet our long term energy needs," she insisted.

Although Mrs. Clinton opposes both nuclear power and drilling in ANWR, she urged: "We need to make a real commitment to achieving energy independence and to invest in energy research and development that will help us finish the job."

Keeping America competitive requires affordable energy. And here we have a serious problem: America is addicted to oil, which is often imported from unstable parts of the world. The best way to break this addiction is through technology. Since 2001, we have spent nearly $10 billion to develop cleaner, cheaper, and more reliable alternative energy sources -- and we are on the threshold of incredible advances.

So tonight, I announce the Advanced Energy Initiative -- a 22-percent increase in clean-energy research -- at the Department of Energy, to push for breakthroughs in two vital areas. To change how we power our homes and offices, we will invest more in zero-emission coal-fired plants, revolutionary solar and wind technologies, and clean, safe nuclear energy.

We must also change how we power our automobiles. We will increase our research in better batteries for hybrid and electric cars, and in pollution-free cars that run on hydrogen. We'll also fund additional research in cutting-edge methods of producing ethanol, not just from corn, but from wood chips and stalks, or switch grass. Our goal is to make this new kind of ethanol practical and competitive within six years.

Breakthroughs on this and other new technologies will help us reach another great goal: to replace more than 75 percent of our oil imports from the Middle East by 2025. By applying the talent and technology of America, this country can dramatically improve our environment, move beyond a petroleum-based economy, and make our dependence on Middle Eastern oil a thing of the past.

Apparently she didn't bother to listen to his speech before making her "President Bush's message tonight was loud and clear: you’re on your own" comment. What a pitiful woman

She's right. We are on our own. The quicker we figure that out, the fewer ragbag Liberals we'll need in government.

As a sitting Senator, doesn't she have the ability to propose her own plans to fix all of these issues? If she's hindered by being in the minority party, she can get a Republican co-sponsor, which shouldn't be difficult if her ideas have value. The fact that she yaps and complains, but does not lift a finger to use her power to make any changes, speaks volumes and should not be overlooked.

Am I forgetting something or did Bush not ask for suggestions on how to save social security when he first announced this plan? I think it was during the debates. W. said ss is broke, we've got to fix it. Here's one idea on how to fix it. I would love to hear anybody else's idea if they've got one. We've just got to do something.

Did I miss something? Did the Dems propose an alternate plan? If not, they totally stepped in a pile last night on that one since they just (on the record) wasted a year and a half on this....meanwhile the clock is ticking. So, now they're going to go back and do what the President asked them to do in 2004, which (incidentally) is what we pay them good money to do.

Elections are decided by issues. The party that advances an agenda that the voters agree with for solving the issues facing the country usually wins. Its that simple. The democrats, somehow, don't get this. Their agenda is still, "vote for us, we aren't them." They offer NO solutions, they offer nothing but criticism. What they really offer is to impeach the President if elected.

Actually, to be accurate, they do offer solutions, but they know damn well if they are honest about those solutions (socialized medicine, treating the WOT as a criminal matter, raising taxes, increasing regulation, etc.) nobody votes for them. That is why they put Kaine up there last night to give the rebuttal. He seemed reasonable (but offered no solutions) but is really just a mask. He is another dem who ran saying one thing and has immediately done what every dem does asap, raise taxes, increase regulation, etc. They simply can't be honest with the voters, PERIOD!!

Don't you just love this woman?

Actually, no.

Does anyone have a video clip of Her Royal Thighness grinning and shaking her empty head?

I'd like to see the clip of her when W made the humorous comment about his father's two favorite baby boomers being himself and President Clinton.

Hillary's look of disgust was priceless.

>I can't understand why the people of New York would elect such a clown to the Senate.

Reason: legal and illegal immigration of third world unassimilable elements.

Approximately half the people in NYC can hardly complete a sentence in English or complete it with such a thick backward accent that it becomes a huge task trying to follow what the heck they're saying.

Immigration will eventually do this country in.

And the DNC rebuttal was more of the same "There's a better way. We just have no idea what that would be" garbage.

Hillary Laughs After “Will Not Sit Back And Wait to Be Hit Again” Remark (VIDEO)

"The terrorist surveillance program has helped prevent terrorist attacks. It remains essential to the security of America. If there are people inside our country who are talking with al Qaeda, we want to know about it, because we will not sit back and wait to be hit again."
