He's going to be the next president unless a strong, smart conservative emerges.
BINGO!!!
I'll vote for Rudy over McLame anyday.
You got it.
I've been reading on this board for several years now that Rudy can't win in the South. Yet for the third election cycle, he is campaigning aggressively for southern GOP candidates and is being met with enthusiastic crowds. His IUO list continues to grow.
He'll cash them in 2008, when he will be the GOP candidate who will win in the South and pick off blue states like NY, NJ and Penn.
I now have money riding on this, courtesy of a bet against another Freeper. Rudy Giuliani ain't even going to run in 2008, let alone win anything.
Jeb Bush is who the liberals at Time and the leftist Pew Research are most afraid of. They are trying to put themselves in the driver's seat for the GOP primary. Notice how they purposely avoid any mention of him. The liberals are already campaigning in Florida as we speak.
Jeb nukes Hitlery right out of the box.
I'm 90% sure I'd vote Rudy if he were the GOP nominee (otherwise would vote Constitution or Libertarian unless Zell Miller was the D nominee, which won't happen). However, I wouldn't actively support him UNLESS-
-Bush gets one more Alito/Roberts type Justice on the SCOTUS before his term's up
-Rudy comes up with a good, honest, believeable, implementable illegal immigration and border control plan
-Rudy comes up with a real fiscal and tax reform package
-He's willing to renounce his previous views on guns, and, preferably also abortion (which would be less of a concern with a good SCOTUS)
Zell Miller has already stated he's not running.
Go Rudy. I'll vote for him!
Absent a Ronald Reagan, we must do all we can to support Rudy. I think he's a shoe-in.
You might well be right.
