Isostatic presses are a technology of very wide application used for lots of things other than nuclear missiles. This is the "aluminum tubes" crap all over again. What are some of the other things? Remember, after oil, Iran's only industry is making carpets...

oil and refinery are a damn good reason to have tubes ...
2004 was another year
Belgium is not the problem - it's not even a part of a small part of the problem. These bearded guys are - and they are with or without aluminium tubes.

For applications of isostatic presses, see
here.
Iran is a country of 68 million people with a GDP of $551B (2005). Iran exports a billion barrels of oil per year worth at most (for 2005) $70B. That leaves at least $480B of other stuff they are doing. 43% of the work force is employed in industry. (Source: CIA) It's not all carpets ($1B in 1997) by a long way. Google around for lists of Iranian industries.
